A totally fun Hollywood horror film. Everyone in it was great, fun protagonist, fun villians and fun earler cgi effects which were better than a lot of the schlocky horror films you see nowadays. Seen it several times, always a fun view. RIP Treat Williams as well, he left us much too soon.

Haven't seen this since I was a kid. All through the movie I didn't feel bad about the mercenaries, let them be eaten by sea monsters I only felt bad for the passengers, especially the lady in the bathroom. And I hate cliff hangers, great movie. They've should've made a sequel. I hope the sea monsters don't attack the Disney Cruise 🤣🤣🤣. And Finnigan kept saying now what.

The CGI in this mid budget movie from 98 is better than what we get in current big budget marvel movies. Also this was supposed to be a prequel to a reboot of King Kong and was originally supposed to star Harrison Ford (personally I think Treat Williams makes this movie great rip)

This was a great movie I love the beginning where the guy say we got something big coming. When it hit the ocean boat hell broke loose. I wish we could have seen what happened to the passenger. Other wise it's a fight til the end

I have thought about it, as soon as the ship stops and the passengers start to panic as they hear the screeches they run to the lifeboats where tentacles burst out of the water and start devouring people some run back inside and are grabbed as well. Canton and Atherton are on the bridge having been flung forwards by the impact and the tentacles smash through the windows and grab the officers sat down watching in horror Atherton grabs canton and run out of the bridge. And get into a lift. Where they're joined by the other three passengers we see in the volt. All they can hear is screams then silence. Canton managed to lead them to the volt and they get inside but a tentacle almost gets them. They listen as they can hear everything outside. Canton looks down and realises that disabling the ship has led to many dying and that they're could be no way out. Before we go back to the mercanaries you see a shadow and the remains of a passenger being left on the floor.
