Someone said this isn't technically a _sequel_ to the first movie, seeing as it takes place _at the same time_ as the first one just in a different area... And that's what's truly great about it. It happens really close, but not at the same time, cause the spirit of the protagonist from the first one comes with the intro farm boy to warn Minxie, so he was already dead before Minxie gets the first vision, after the end of the first the creeper had time to go after the farm boy before getting to the bus tho.

Now this was peak storytelling. I watched this decades ago. I didnt even remember the plot. All that was left was the feeling of terror it instilled in me. Now watching it as an adult. Its not so much scary as it is thrilling. The casting was superb and the characters were well written. I was drawn in to every moment of disbelieve, bargaining and acceptance. To top it off, the well placed comedic timing was just chefs kiss. They really dont make them like they used to anymore. MJM

I'm a 2000s kid. And movies lilke this got me through high school. I'm talking The Faculty, Final Destination, Jennifer's Body nightmare on elm street and others like these. First time I saw this movie I was doing my senior year in high, day before our last field trip, you can imagine what kind of imaginative narrative I had on the bus. The Creeper is one of the greatest movie baddies of all time. Frightening, vicious and the stuff of nightmares. The trilogy should have been treated to a genuine big screen 3rd film to round off one of the best & and most underrated bunch of horror films in the last two decades.

One thing that feels very sad to me is that the Dad becomes so obsessed to get revenge for his younger son that he endangers his elder son's life and doesn't even look that concerned for him. The guy was extremely lucky that the pole didn’t hit or go through his stomach. I still don't understand to this day, why did the dad brought the poor dog in that place if he just had to order his son to hide the dog in the car?? They were tracking the demon from their car. The dog was of no use in that place except for drawing unwanted attention.
