I love Deep Rock Galactic. Hopefully 2024 becomes one of the best years for new bugs to squish, more guns, and more perks! ROCK AND STONE!

For Newbies who didn’t quite get what was going on. I will describe each of the bosses. In my own personal order. 0:01 Glyphid Dreadnought: Big and Tough, to damage it you need to hit its glowing abdomen on the back which will be covered in a protective layer that must be removed and can regenerate after the dreadnought takes enough damage or enough time passes. It can spit explosive fireballs, glowing pheromone eggs, and can stomp the ground for a spike-filled shockwave. 4:37 Dreadnought Hiveguard: Slower than the other variants but covered in invincible armor, and will lob several consecutive exploding fireballs at a time. Killing the Glyphid Sentinels it summons will make it show three points you have to destroy to make its abdomen armor open up, and will stomp the ground to send a circle of explosive rock-things out while said abdomen is open and vulnerable. Abdomen armor will automatically close once it takes enough damage or enough time passes and it will subsequently call more sentinels and you have to repeat the cycle. 2:21 Dreadnought Twins (Lacerator and Arbalest): Lacerator has Orange armor and has more aggressive closer-range attacks, those being a flamethrower breath, three quake projectiles in a directional sequence, and bursting out of the ground under you when it digs. Arbalest has Yellow armor and has more cowardly ranged attacks, those being a fan-like spread of explosive fireballs, and a volley of bombs that release ground spikes. Both will dig all over the place and will regenerate to even out their health if one has lower enough HP than the other. 7:01 Charge-Sucker/BET-C: Old Weapons platform whose programming was corrupting by the charge-sucker parasites feeding on its internal wiring. Killing the charge suckers will defeat it, causing it to abruptly shut down where it can be rebooted to bring back to your side, where it will help you fight other enemies for the rest of the mission. 8:24 Rival Tech Prospector: Prospecting Drone sent by a Rival Company to collect data on the planet’s caves. Attacking will make it start panicking and fleeing while it calls in robotic rival tech enemies (Either Patrol Bots: Standard mobile attack drones that can fire projectiles, focused shots, and homing missiles, and will fly around or roll on the ground to maneuver. Or Shredders: Small drones that come in groups and will get up close to continuously charge at you with their sharp blades) to try and protect it. It will temporarily put up an invincibility shield each time a segment of its health bar is depleted. Successfully killing the Prospector will drop a cube containing the data it’s collected, to be stolen and brought back to the DRG company for their own use. 7:31 Rival Nemesis: Killer Robot built by Rival Tech to explicitly hunt down and kill the dwarves you’re playing as by mimicking their speech as fabricated cries for help to lure them in and snatch them with its long extending grabber arms to crush them to death with. It’s quite tanky and will periodically shoot out a force field towards any players shooting at it. Upon death it will spout its last words then release a barrage of teleporting timed explosives called Phase Bombs before blowing itself up. 9:37 Caretaker: Huge Robotic Upside-Down-Pyramid-Shaped Machine guarding a vault containing a data-filled rack, acting as a defense system for said Rival Tech installation. Fought at the end of Industrial Sabotage missions where you need to first disable a force field around it and the data vault. You must damage every one of the open vents on its corners (the player in the video attempts to cheese it by using a Satchel Charge to try to get all four vents at once with the blast radius) enough to make one of the circular eyes on one of its sides open, where it can be damaged. It has four robot tentacles around it that can shoot energy projectiles or lunge at its attackers. It can launch Phase Bombs, deploy Ceiling Sniper Turrets, or Summon Shredders, whenever one of the sections of its health bar is depleted. Once finally defeated and exploded, the vault will open, letting the dwarves take the data rack it was guarding to extract and complete the mission. 19:19 Glyphid Bulk Detonator: A giant, powerful and destructive version of a Glyphid exploder (this game’s suicide-bomber type enemy) that is really slow and tanky. It attacks by unleashing a devastating firey stomp that does absurd damage (enough to one-shot players on high difficulties). When its health is depleted, it shakes a bit before blowing up, destroying everything in the radius and leaving a big crater behind (the one in the video is fought in one of these craters too) as well as releasing an additional cluster of explosive pustules that can reach targets outside the blast radius. It’s also the only enemy that the dwarves and DRG have any explicit fear towards. Some of its boils are its weakspots and can be destroyed with enough damage. 20:08 Crassus Detonator: Like the Bulk Detonator, but significantly more rare, even more tankier, and the crater it leaves will be covered in gold ore. So it’s actually a good thing to encounter one assuming you can take it down. You can also maximize the gold crater by making it detonate in a tunnel, as seen in the video. 14:36 Lithophage Corruptor: A mature form of a product of the Rockpox, a strange, horrifying, deadly, occasionally aggressive, and highly contagious alien pathogen that can spread through rock itself and inflicts agonizing body horror on its hosts, brought to the Planet by a fragmenting meteor and heavily implied to possess a Hivemind-esqe sentience. The corruptor is initially non-hostile, albeit spreading dangerous rockpox around, and will start attacking once players start attempting to clean off its bulletproof armor. It can pound the ground when in close proximity, can shoot thin waves of tendrils at attacking players when exposed, and releases worm-like rockpox larvae whenever an armor segment is stripped off it. Stripping its armor off will reveal and expose its core which can be damaged. Once killed it will drop plaguehearts, the very product of the rockpox that it formed from, to be transported off planet to be studied by DRG’s researchers. 16:45 Korlok Tyrant Weed: A conglomerate of Interconnected plants protecting a central Core that opens and becomes vulnerable every time whenever enough of its surrounding projectile-shooting sprouts are killed. When opened, it can grow new sprouts and can also grow healing pods to try and heal itself. When killed, it drops valuable Tyrant Shards which are apparently what made up its inner core. Not shown in the video: Ommoran Heartstone: An unusual, scaly-looking, red and yellow colored, big, spherical, sentient and psychic or supernatural stone that is encountered at the end of Escort Duty missions where you have to protect an automatic Drilldozer as it makes its way to the Ommoran Heartstone in order to drill it open and harvest it. It has four phases each marked by a section of its health bar, and will release a forceful shockwave with each layer penetrated. It will attempt to defend itself by attracting bugs to attack the dozer, telekinetically lifting rocks to smash the dozer, and raising obelisk-like beam shooting crystals to fire constant lasers at the dozer. Season 5 also added a new attack where it tries to trap a dwarf in a crystalline shell. Upon being fully penetrated by the drilldozer, it will release one final shockwave killing the other enemies alongside it (albeit unfortunately destroying the drilldozer in the process as well) and leaving its super-valuable core ready for taking and extracting to complete the mission. Season 5 also added the Core Stone: Initially found as a dark purple colored monolith-shaped rock formation, mining the formation and exposing it will wake it up (it’s also sentient) and cause it to summon rifts that spawn horrifying simian-like Corespawn Crawlers that will assault you as you try to deplete the Core Stone’s health bar, which will re-encase itself in the purple rock with each health bar segment that you have to dig it up from again. Once its health is depleted it will drop to the ground and the rifts will close. Allowing you to pick it up and place it in a specialized containment pod to be transported back for whatever reason DRG is interested in collecting it.

Just noting that on haz 4 and 5 you can 1-2 cycle the korlok weed as driller if you drill the roots when it opens. Does insane damage and you're kinda forced to use this method if you have less than 3 people or your team isn't coordinated because otherwise you won't be able to deal more damage than it regens
