If you get an overclock called Explosive chemical rounds, the LOK-I rifle is one of the most insane guns for the engineer...basically long story shot what it does it when you get a level 3 lock on to a creature and release it creates an explosion on that creature (i'm sure you can guess how that goes with swarms ) basically you would use 2,2,1,2,1 for the LOK-I. Also if you run Breach cutter and shredder grenades you can put out some insane games. I usually hit around 800-900+ kills in hazard 5's with that build ( depending on the map and objective ) OH i use to use only one turret, but honestly I just took 2 for the hell of it on this build for some reason.

i don't think any overclock is gonna fix the fundamental issue i have with the gun, it's just a personal thing. im sure that it's a fine weapon but i just don't enjoy using it

I noticed you dont have either of the teir 5 upgrades for the warthog, you should try to get thise soon as they improve it pretty significantly. Having a full auto shotgun is always gonna be fun and is a solid pick but turret whip is by far the best upgrade on the entire gun, if you can learn to use it properly you can get insane value out of your shots and its really fun to use. Disabled inertia ejector on the platform gun is there specifically for the RJ250 overclock on the pgl, almost no one uses it though because its still not very useful and repellent additive is busted It's really unfortunate that you dont like the lok's playstyle though as it is definitely engies best primary with either ECR for great swarm clear or Executioner for insane dps only really being beaten by volatile bullets on the bulldog.

His primaries "burn" through ammo because engie has a ton of other ways to kill things. You have your turrets, grenades and probably the strongest secondaries in the game. Use them effectively and you won't have ammo issues.

fair enough lmao im very bad when it comes to ammo efficiency so i always just take total ammo mods to compensate

​@@zackjohnson47 strangely enough ive gotten a lot of overclocks for gunner weapons. maybe management is trying to tell me something lol

@@bumbus7583 i highly recommend gunner. i started playing the game with him and he’s my most solid character by far. i got a lot of scout and driller overclocks before i got anything good for gunner tho. i think by far engie and scout are the hardest to get into without overclocks.
