I'm glad that, even in this completely different game genre, dropping an orbital-to-subsurface pod on some bug's exoskeleton skull is still an important aspect of the game. Also the swarm as a literal carpet of bugs is terrifying, thanks.

I'm personally a lot more interested in what Rogue Core is gonna turn out to be. But hey, Survivor is a functionally released game as of 02/14/2024, whereas we're not gonna see Rogue Core gameplay for a while outside the already released screenshots. Not sure how I feel about "Auto Shooters" as a genre (my only experience with one is a crap-to-mediocre shovelware mobile port game on Switch called "Zombie Defense" by Qubic Games, which I got for $0.50 to enter their 12 free game giveaway from January) but this looks pretty well made so far.

It's much simpler. There was a game in the same genre, "Vampire Survivor", which for some reason became popular. So it's like using the word "Rogue" in the name of your roguelike game.

Yeah it can be seen as unfortunate but that’s just how it gonna be. DRG is essentially a complete game and they want to branch out to other things, which is evident by them making Survivor, a board game, also while developing Rogue Core which is a rough-like version of DRG. They will still work on and update the main game but there will be big gaps with less and less content as time goes on…

This is awesome. Have you guys considered making a crafting/survival game with your IP? I'd love to try to setup my own base with other dwarf buddies and defend it from these nasty bugs who would try to come mess it up while we're also looking for more resources and stuff to upgrade our gear and base(s). I've been playing Core Keeper and Techtonica and seen other underground based games. It's a cool concept, but you guys already have the cool and established IP.

I wish they would have focused on deep rock galactic instead of slowing updates and then pushing out these less stellar games in an attempt to increase profits. I bought every supporter pack for the original game. Not anymore, it's a shame but i wish them the best.

We are only the publisher for this game. The GSG dev team are not involved in the creation of this game at all, instead focusing on Rogue Core and DRG Season 05.
