In this episode we're mothershipping our kayaks 18 miles down the coast from Los Buzos Resort in search of deep sea GIANTS. The 90 minute ride is worth it as we get right into INSANE action on both artificials and huge live baits. Then things get even more interesting...
COMMENT BELOW and tell me what species you would want to catch most at Los Buzos!

My first time Kayaking and this Kayak held strong. kzbin.infoUgkx4k5UrhC3v_Y4hIEaXLGvHcN5a5aBmZNB The water got pretty rough as a speed boat zipped by me, and the Kayak withstood it (I expected to be capsized). The Ores are very easy to put together, the pump worked beautifully. the seats are a bit hard to sit in after a while (I recommend sitting on the floor). after reading the reviews I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable. The Air valve may need a small Phillips head screwdriver to adjust, other than that, it's well worth the money!(update)I've gone Kayaking in 3 Lakes and 2 rivers totaling about 40 miles. the kayak had two holes and they patched easily and no other problems can't wait for kayaking season this year!

WATCH IT AGAIN ! Slow it down. After he says the two guys dove down with the fish and he lost them. they are in the back ground with a fish .He later cuts to them ,then cuts away quickly they are huddle over the fish like their cleaning it. then one man is washing guts off his hands . Why not admit you had the fish out of the water too long ? All fisherman have accidently killed fish . Sometimes the hooks too deep ,or the line breaks and the fish is snagged and you cant see it etc...Maybe outraged cultured types might fuss, but real fisherman [ though saddened] know dead fish never go to waste turtles, crabs ,eels, raccoons etc are happy to find them . Also fisherman might keep a fish if it just going to die and its good eating. The truth would have been more understandable than lying.
@YakFishField
@YakFishField 3 жыл бұрын
Lol. Quite the conspiracy theory. It actually just took one more try, but I cut the video there so the scene wouldn't be an hour long. "WATCH IT AGAIN!" and send me a screenshot of all the blood and guts you're seeing...? I would readily admit if we kept a cubera. They're delicious. We choose not to only so our clients have the maximum chance of catching one. But I wouldn't feel bad about killing one in the slightest, so I have no reason to lie about it. You're just reading way too much into a half second glimpse and making wild assumptions. People are so crazy and cynical these days. No "outraged cultured types might fuss..." only you are fussing hahaha

You really think the locals jumped into water known to hold sharks and dive that fish down, just because the cameras were rolling? They’d be getting paid the same regardless of filming, so they did that because they care for the fish, same as the guy with the camera. Those fish bring them their livelihoods, so of course they’ll do what they can 🙄

Yup, sadly I agree with the comments. It's clear, it's blatant. I appreciate you gave it your best efforts, but its a shame you tried to gloss over it and deceive your viewers. The dude has an epic story to tell. Hope he tells it the way it truly went down.
@YakFishField
@YakFishField 3 жыл бұрын
It's not clear or blatant, because you're wrong. We were rigging a descending device on it to try again, because it came back up. It is perfectly legal to kill cuberas in Panama, and I honestly would love to do a catch and cook with em. But we release them whenever possible so there's plenty for future clients to catch. You misinterpreted what you saw buddy. It took 3 more attempts, but she finally went down on the descending device. I just didn't feel like making this an hour-long video to keep showing attempt after attempt. If I had known so many people would make wild assumptions and get all butt-hurt, I would've made the scene more extensive. It's just that the other 99.9% of viewers don't care or didn't assume the worst lol
@jasonwall3591
@jasonwall3591 3 жыл бұрын
Read my comment again! My point was not that you killed a fish. I kill fish to feed my family on a regular basis. My point was the deceit. Can you not admit that what your saying is not how it looks? Clearly alot of viewers thought the same. If I am wrong I'm very sorry! What you do over there is the stuff of legends and it is very clear you care for the fish that are released. Keep up the good work!

So I messaged him on Instagram about this, he ended up getting rid of the compass and just using the lighting due to still getting he job done at half the price. This is what he said exactly “Yeah, I got rid of the Hobie a while ago when I got my Lightning. It gets the job done at half the price”

Not exactly safe to overload that kayak for a photo. Seems stupid to me.

Accidents happen, Dave. We have people do it literally 52 weeks a year and that’s the first time that has happened. Driving a car isn’t exactly safe either, but we all take calculated risks.
