Not a lot I'd rather be doing than listening to a PE Rowe story. I am disappointed in the world for a hundred reasons, but not your story telling. it is great . I am disappointed in the world to some degree that you don't have more subs. However, as far as I can see your stories are forever green. Which is a huge asset. If you build it they will come. and not all scifi ages well, but i think yours will. As for the new obelisk i would lean toward some sort of biological nanotech use. which is a plausible long term possibility i think. Love your thumb nail too it is a perfect macabre depiction.

It would be a hit. series too, and your narration is as good as any narrator or any voice actor Except maybe Sonny Burton aka Bloody Bookmarker. he is new but I'm so impressed with his version of the" Red Rising " series( though he may have quit on the third book which would be tragic he is great) . .... but i digress as I'm wont to do. .. You could narrate or maybe play Juice he might be easiest to play, as he seems fairly sedate and laid back., or any of the Primes. or maybe a series of minor supporting roles or all of the above. I'm not saying you couldn't play anyone you want , just saying until you get your feet wet. That said, how would you cast yourself and all the main characters in the "Misfits." Or any other stories . p.s. how about some Primes back stories?!
@RoweLit9 ай бұрын
Ha, if I were a casting agent, the answer would definitely be: None of the above, Rowe. Go home and stick to writing! At best, you have a basement podcast voice and a face for radio 🤣 And, truly, I'd agree. Acting live in front of people would be at least in the bottom ten-percent of jobs I would ever want to do. That said, Clem Aballi is a no-brainer for voice acting just because it's my native accent and so many people who try it butcher it. It's not in the Rs but the vowels.
@MrIzzyDizzy9 ай бұрын
Please Rowe don't sell yourself short. Your emotional tone is wonderful, i feel your characters. Voice for voice sake is a tertiary concern at best. You don't have to be great looking to act either. Is Meryl Streep pretty? Al Pacino handsome? Not really. Acting is all about emotional tone too and you ARE good at it. That said pretty man Brad Pitt might make a good Transom. P.S.. that may date me Brad Pit was born in 63 - same as me. I am OLD . geez who are the young action star types today? I don't have a clue. about young actors.

@RoweLit9 ай бұрын
Hi, Verne! Thanks for the feedback. Violence of this type is neither my favorite to write or consume, so I don't do a lot of it, and frankly I wouldn't have written this story if it hadn't won the poll. In other stories where violence creeps up, I've done a disclaimer, but I thought the title and thumbnail was sufficient to indicate the type of story it was going to be so people who wanted to avoid it could. In the future, I'll try to be more explicit in the rare cases where violence becomes a part of the story. My favorite stories to produce are the uplifting ones. Thanks for listening!
