My thing is if you go shallow lasso he’s not pulling the guy down! I actually like to do deep lasso because it breaks her posture and that’s really important for sweeps having them not be able to do a lot of stuff and I just think it’s way more better and I appreciate my friend here because he has very good take on it

you should do a shallow lasso lesson on how Andre Galvao defines the shallow lasso. He literally puts it on the shoulder and uses it to push, big difference.

I've been playing lasso for quite some time and have turned it into a "signature" position for me. But I am having trouble landing that knee sweep you do all the time. They usually back up, or posture real good and I cant sweep them. Sometimes they put their leg up on that side. I;ll keep working at it. bit I have not found the "trick" yet.
