My old neighbor continued to visit back to Vermont bi or annually. I so wanted to go with him to ski. You have an amazing state with the nicest people. Subscribing from London. Just watched the Chopra interview and absolutely loved it. Joy the key. Seeing/helping/making a baby/toddler laugh/smile the key to my wife Sandra and my regular coffee trips to a place called Chislehurst (with our books!) twice a week. One thought: maybe Bob Dylan should have been mentioned among the inspiring 'luminaries', especially as music and the arts were highlighted as opponents of what The Beatles called the 'Blue Meanies' (Tories in the UK). No one's done more than Dylan in this area, no one a freer agent. Good subject for the future? Maybe a Dylan expert to interview? Get George Orwell in there somewhere as well perhaps? As for Deepak Chopra's vast contribution to the health and wellbeing of all people everywhere, and his influence in embracing freedom and life in abundance, to my knowledge he experimented with psychedelics in the early part of his career in the medical profession, and has recently aligned with a pharmaceutical mind altering hallucinogen as a form of therapy. Deepak is really deep, but simplistic. Much of his beliefs reflect tenets of the bible, which some revere so highly, but rarely live by. Love, forgiveness, surrendering to what we don't understand. I worked in service most of my life because I felt it was making the world a better place, but I was unhappy. It wasn’t until I decided to pursue my art that I felt happier, freer, more fulfilled. I still question if those pursuits are making the world better, or are they just serving myself. I thought I would roll my eyes at this session, I thought Deepak was gonna spit all this scientific philosophy but it was pretty great! Thanks Chris!

1. Deepak breaks down complex Vedanta truths into small universal concepts that anyone in any spiritual or non-spiritual viewpoints can relate to. He will not lay more complex concepts in an interview like this with varied Cuomo audience. 2. Re; your years of service ; he would suggest honest self inquiry on your underlying intention in doing that service? That will reveal the source of your unhappiness. The love and forgiveness you cite are not assumed as actions we carry out from our lower states of awareness- they just become empty actions imbued with obligation...and NOT through love / forgiveness/ compassion that arises as natural qualities from our ascension into higher states. I just finished watching the interview with Deepak, and I'm still smiling. I've read many of his books, done many of his online meditations, and heard him speak live. However, this interview allowed me to see another side of him. He is far less serious and far more chill. The highlight of the interview is his interpretation of the world and what he says about artists. It makes so much sense as artists are known to deal with bouts of depression and express themselves and the world through their art. You express yourself whether you paint, sing, dance, or chant. There is an artist in all of us searching for expression. I have to write each day, and I've found that expressing myself makes me feel calmer, more grounded, and better able to get through the day. A grandmother who knits socks for her grandchild is an artist demonstrating her love for the child. Sometimes the best of us comes out after we experience traumatic events, and I think Chris Cuomo, this is where you belonged all along. Everyone should find their artistic expression. It's a yearning that has to be released. Bravo!!!!

Humanity needs an updated language regarding Tradition and Family Values that 90+% of the current population can agree on. In Populist moments, people need the social contract to match current concerns. Another great discussion, Chris, thank you. Gets me thinking. Elevating Hip Hop poetry sounds good -- connecting the Classes, if only on the left. Also good: connecting left and right. It starts by respecting the things that matter most to those that don't agree with you. Communicate, and get to the simple things; and then to those that are most important. Often that can look like dignity, in various forms, on one side, and security (economic, and physical especially) on the other. And peace, in the end, for all.

Brothers. We all need these reminders. As I travel life, I feel a freeness that I have never experienced before. An ability to let go when I need to, an ability to contribute when I need to. An ability to love, be kind and forgive. Wow! What a journey the spiritual world is as we use our Avatars to interact with a world long gone mad! I am often needing the reminder of my insanity as I see the insanity in others. I will never understand why people care whether or not people are gay or straight or what gender they are, whether they get abortions, etc... people need to learn how to mind their own business and learn to respect sovereignty... we don't have the right to tell other people what to do with their own bodies, very simple.... and yet somehow people out there are confused and think it's "wrong"... just goes to show you how brainwashed so many Americans are... very sad... and I blame a lot of it on "religion" and societal/traditional norms.... some people are so brainwashed and programmed that they just can't handle anything outside of the "societal norm"... which is weak and pathetic.

It is always a pleasure to listen to Deepak Chopra. He says it clear & true. It is not very optimistic but that’s what it is. He is right. I am luckily very solid psychologically, but to my opinion again, this interview is not for all to listen to. Needs to be mentally healthy Everyone cannot hear the truth. It may be scary for some.
