In fact, the United States banned Deepcool on the grounds that Deepcool sold products to Russia. I think it is a bit ridiculous. Politicians have all kinds of strange methods. In the eyes of some of our Chinese DIY players, this is more like protecting their own brands. To ensure that the decision will not be destroyed by deepcool, which is cheap but has good performance, for example, the products sold by brands like corsair are expensive and the performance is not particularly outstanding. For this reason, I am an American brand. DIY players feel pity

But only if it doesn't cost you. That's the right mentality 😂

Corsair power supplies are made by Great Wall in China that also manufactures most power supplies in general under most brands including generic ones like Wallmart, and of course sells them to Russia as well under many brands in much bigger quantities than Deepcool. @spentcasing39905 ай бұрын
To add some detail to this video. The reason why DeepCool is being banned in the U.S, and probably soon other western countries is because the items DeepCool sold fall under the CHPL list (Common High Priority List) This is a list of about 50 items that are sanctioned not to be sold to Russia because they will be used to produce weapons for Russia's war with Ukraine. Most of these items are electronic in nature such as cpu's, integrated circuits, capacitors, and printed circuits. What DeepCool did was try to bypass the sanctions by selling computer parts such as aio's and power supplies, that the Russians would tear down and use for parts to make weapons. Russia doesn't have the facilities to produce their own parts and have to rely on imports. This is why the Russians are trying to get their hands on any electronic device possible from smart TV's to washing machines and dishwashers

Anything that has integrated circuits, printed circuits, or any kind of microprocessor falls under the CHPL (Common High Priority List) And are banned from being sold to Russia because the Russians use them to make weapons such as guided missles to attack Ukraine. Russia can't produce these on their own which is why they steal and tear down every computer and smart device they can get their hands on. What DeepCool did was sell over $1million worth of pc products that have those components. Power supplies, aio's, and digital displays like DeepCool's AK620 have those components the Russians need.
