I'm surprised there aren't more display options with the screen. Maybe they can add more graphical settings through software updates. Anyways it's a "cool" way to display the data.

It's an LED display, the kind that you can find on watches and calculators for example. All the elements it can display are baked in, so there's not much else you could do with it other than these two readouts.

Wait... 7:30 The Deepcool AK620 is 48.8dB but the digital version is only 39dB? Thats a HUGE difference. Any reason why?

Appreciate the vid,, It's nice but a shame the digital display needs software support to actually work, would be good if they included a hardware based (temp probe) or integrated probe of some sort even if the reading is slightly off, it would be easy to workout the delta to make the display useful without running software constantly.

Such a beautyful CPU cooler! A dream! The most beautyful CPU cooler I have ever seen, and my dream coming true: An air cooler with a beautyful LCD screen or at least display. Over are the days of jealous looking at all these beautyful AIO´s with stunning beautyful full colour displays and having a CPU temperature and water temperature screen in the middle of the mainboard because now finally we air coolers get this awesome style and design too :) But a water cooler are too risky, and even if a water cooler is not failing (and destroying the graphics card + the mainboard while doing so) it is pumping only slosh, algaes, mud and rust in circles after a few months and the pump begins to rattle. That´s why air cooling forever and air cooling only. And now finally in style and finally with beatyful display YAAY!!!! :D

It looks nice, but the screen on the AK620 looks like it has so much wasted space above and below where the actual numbers are displayed. I wish that you could change the size of the displayed metrics, or that there were more things that you could display with it. But that doesn't seem to be the case here. However, the screen does look ok on the AK400 because of the narrower display, which makes it feel more like a watch screen. All in all a neat feature. I think it needs a bit more development, but it's not bad if you like that sort of thing.

I put an AK620 on my sons computer with a R5 5600x and it handles that cpu like a boss, just picked up a 620 digital for mine.

How tall is this air cooler? Can you tell me if it is possible to use it in a case that supports 160mm in height for aircooler?

Can you turn off the rgb? I’m building a non rgb pc so that’s the reason why 😅

I don’t think so. I just got this and there are no options to disable RGB or even just change the colors which is pretty annoying. I hope they change that soon. Edit: it was late and I wasn’t thinking. You can do this from your motherboard settings so yes you can

I just installed the ak500s and love it. But the digital readout is anywhere from 6-12C higher from what HWinfo shows. And yes, everything is hooked up correctly and latest software download is installed. No idea why this display is so far off from HWinfo. Any help???

Let me guess Amd? If so then it's normal when temp is bellow 55c this is due to how the software measure temp is different then how amd software measure it

Yes. Only the rgbs won't light on, but the rest of the thing on display work just fine

If it were programmable LCD the $80 price would be justified but, when I can get better performance from a $28 Thermalright Phantom Spirit 7 pipe twin tower cooler it's going to take a lot more than a digital temp display for an extra $50 cost.
