Thank you for your existence 🙏. I picked up my first deck of tarot in the late 90s. I wasn't very good with it and didn't get it, I went through many journeys and many paths to find myself here again. i left it behind on a tower like paths that are about of my own fool's journey and ...At age forty I started to research the Tarot and history of it and the symbols because I wanted to create some art. I thought hey lets take on a project and create a deck. I am so glad that I live in the time I do because there is so much wisdom and knowledge and just when I think I got mastery it like... nope let's go deeper. I cannot express how its helped me understand and how much its saved my life. I appreciate everything on your channel because while I am not a beginner, I am not a master and I think thats the beauty is that theres always something so new to learn about it and how the mastery is knowing that you can teach but even all the great teachers say they are still students.

Dude...I'm honestly floored by something right now. I just left a comment on another video about the high Priestess and water etc, nothing in comparison. When you were talking about Ezekiel, eyes and psychedelics while holding the wheel of fortune card card...friendo...Joe...you're NOT kidding. I had an experience over a decade ago that I'm just now really unraveling the significance of. I've been freaking people out because of my rants about eyes, arch angels, psychedelics, bible quotes and THAT very card. Not to mention The World card. I came across your page for the first time today. I’ve been doing tarot for a couple years now, but I love the way you explain the cards and interpretations. I lost my twin flame suddenly 7 months ago, from an undetected illness. I get signs from him daily. He was in a band that opened for the Black Crows in the early 2000’s. Im loving your content and the interpretations. Much more complex and spiritual over other interpretations. I came on to comment again as, before you hit the devil card I had popped over to FB for a brain break. Keanu Reeves seems to be popping up in various AI representations and I noted that is he the poster boy for AI I wonder, given he played Neo in the Matrix.. Its interesting the interpretation of the moon representing our revolutionary past. I have postulated that the moon is where souls go to for their 'karma'.. go to the light? And souls inhabit the moon (this is a Gnostic theory).. it has however been depicted in movies such as The Trueman Show & Moon more recently.

Joe, I have watched some Thoth tarot deck videos and I do not relate or connect to them yet would you still recommend someone to read a couple of Crowleys books on the Thoth deck for deeper understandings and learnings and incorporate that into the RW decks? Hey Emie! That's a great question! I would say there is no need to, BUT it would definitely add more knowledge. I have personally felt a deeper connection to the Waite Smith deck after studying Crowley. The Book of Thoth, for example, takes golden dawn tradition of tarot (which includes most notably kabbalah and astrology) and extrapolates it by fusing it with the philosophies and images from Crowley's other works, channeled writing, and experiences. I find that the more technical parts of the book are more golden dawn, which is the same material Waite was using to create the RWS. You might also want to explore Book T :)

in modern esotericism, it's generally accepted that "masculine" and "feminine" energies are just projective and receptive, expanding and contracting I'm not an expert in Kabbalah, but I would compare it to the sephiroth opposite eachother, where one side of the tree is expansive, and the other restricts that concept, like Hokmah and Binah I think that has alot to do with how gender expresses itself in humans. Like I was reading about octopi right, we're finding out new behaviors about them all the time, they may have a concept of gender identity as it turns out, as some males will behave "femininely" by making themselves small and walking in the small way the women do, in order to get near another male's mate. In sex, women tend to take this subserviant role, thats just how we socialized, so I think that sorta expanded into this general idea of women as recessive. And I bring up the octopi because they have a sorta similar thing going on, and you can see a more primative socialization of gender in that male's behavior to try and steal another male's mate. This was a ramble, but what I'm trying to say is I think it helps to think of gender in tarot as more indicative of whether it's an expansive or receptive energy. With the Kings and Queens in the court cards I always say the King is to Speak as Queen is to Listen I like you saying they bounce off eachother though, because again with the court cards, elements have gender attributed to them as well, the cups are feminine, and the King of Cups is considered a good listener, and listens openly to his people, and uses that to make good decisions. But the Queen then takes that a step further and knows how to really listen to herself as well as others, and uses that to reflect upon herself. So you're right these definitely do take aspects of one another

I interpret it totally differently . You are thinking of cuttlefish not octopus. Cuttlefish to pretend to be female to get close to females. That absolutely does NOT prove ‘gender identity ‘ what so ever. That shows that sex differences are real, and some animals can imitate sex differences to dishonesty obtain sex.

But I also offer that sex differences are much older than humans, as our evolutionary ancestral species had sex differences - as do all mammals and birds. Even those species who can change sex, or have reversed sex differences still do have a system of sex differences. Sex is a pattern that permeates almost all living things, including plants. Despite variation there are always only 2 sexes because there are only 2 types of gamete - the large sessile gamete with a lot of material - and the small mobile gamete with less material. On the gamete level, the female gamete is passive and the male active. Conceptually, I think this pervades consciousness despite variations on every subsequent level.
