My deeper chirp shows small medium and large fish icons. May I know what are the fish dimensions this classification is based on please?

@Buy Deeper Thanks for the explanation - that makes sense. In practical, I have noticed bait fish up to 30 cm is triggering the small and medium icons and a 60cm bluefish that I caught triggered the large fish icon. Hope this may help anyone wondering.

Hi Just invested in a chirp 2 deeper When the deeper is stationary on the water surface my map seems to move at a fast pace giving a frenzy of different readings Any advice would be most welcome Have it set on the medium radar

Can these detect squid also? If so, how does it look on the sonar

Hello, unfortunately, squids are soft bodied, with no bones or swim bladder, so it's very difficult to detect them with any sonar. It doesn't mean it's not possible with high sensitivity setting and steady trolling of the sonar.

They have a hard time even detecting fish... or the bottom.
