I have been watching this channel all through lockdown and I haven't relaxed my hair in over two years. My hairdresser braids my hair every other month. When I got my hair down last month she used the dryer and combed it out and my hair now goes down to my bra strap. I haven't had hair this long in nearly 17 years. I was so happy. I may just stop using extensions soon when I braid it and just go with my own natural hair instead. Love it and felt so inspired by this channel as I learn how to better take care of my hair.

You totally can just use your natural hair to do protective styles without extensions! A lot of people don’t realize that but I do it all the time, leave them in for about 3 weeks then commence wash day and do them over again and they really have helped my hair to grow. I definitely say try it! As long as you keep your hair and scalp moisturized while you do it, you should be good

You was featured on someone's video a month or so ago and I was promoting the hell out of you sis lol. That's why I watch you over any other stylist so far to help me learn or find techniques on my hair. I was like and she tells you not forces you to do what she does, she literally tells you to help you find how, not do as like a lot of stylist I've seen. I love watching your work. I have been a stylist for 35 years. Marcell irons and jerry curls were all the rage when I was in beauty school. The tools now look so much easier! AND better for the hair! You do a fantastic job for your clients!

I got a full set of marcels with the oven by chance walking past a salon going out of business...I still have them 15 years later. There are some that I've never even used like the one for the super small freeze curls, but the irons you are using look awesome....but you can put bomb tools in anyones hands but you gotta be commited and know hair to really lay some hair.

@@imParisthoee when I say natural hair I'm referring to the hair that is actually grown from her head. That is her natural hair and that natural hair can be braided, straightened, curled, twisted, or many other things but it's still natural because it is grown naturally from her head.

🙋🏾‍♀️ Yes, that's me curling my hair practically everyday before school in the 90's growing up in Baltimore. Lol I had burnt fingertips and all with curling irons and flatirons I would get from Kmart! 😂😂 The thing is my hair can take some heat because she's nice and thick, but I did go way too far back in the day and got serious heat damage, singed ears, and a burned forehead more than enough times lol With that being said, I did get much better at taking care of my hair and I don't overly use heat like I used to. Her hair turned out beautiful! 😍😍 I always call this the waterfall effect. If hair falls down like this, it's loved up on right!

I’ve been eyeing the trio T3 curler for a while so this definitely solidified my purchase. If you have points at ulta, you can use it on this item so I’m going to save up my points.

Omg! I have a similar story, but I was a sophomore in college 😅 girl, that curling iron slipped outta my hand and down on MY NECK!!! The left side of neck was crispy. It's been about 13 years since, but I still have some discoloration from that dang iron. I ain't pick one up since either 😅🤣

Hi DTH! I’m glad you’re doing better! Girl let me tell you and everybody else in the chat, when I had a relaxer, I used to put the flat iron in my hair just about everyday too, and I wasn’t in school at the time. I was a grown woman who has children! 😂😂 it’s bad when I think about it now. Now that I’m natural I don’t use the flat iron that much bc I want to maintain the health of my hair.
