There is no relation of depression with being poor or rich... Or how much they enjoy in life.... Or how much they suffer.... The main thing is... Once hormones like dopamine and serotonin levels are low in your brain... U feel strange... Which is termed as deprssion... But although it is complicated....A rich and prosperous may have depression... And a poor and meagre living may have no depression....depression and enjoy/suffer are different things

The journey of recovery is not easy but i believe when we will look back we will see what we have learnt from our experiences. Loosing ourself ,carving for ourself ,wanting ourself back and finally fighting aganist all odd (even with ourself ) to become a better human being with bunches of experience at a very small age is what makes a post depressed person a fulfilling soul. It may be very easy for you to sit behind a screen and write rude, baseless comments. But depression is a very serious illness. And you know the thing about illnesses? It does not care if you're rich or poor, old or young, man or woman. And the amount of effort and will power that it must take them to not only get better but also talk about their story is enormous.
@tanishaverghese98323 жыл бұрын
@@animeedits9291 also, just to educate you. Depression is not just 'sadness'. It has way more pervasive and dark symptoms and effects. people like you who think someone who 'parties' or is 'rich' or does not visibly show any signs of depression are faking it, are honestly more than anything else, just less informed. This is solely to make you understand. Please don't ever try to say people are faking it when they come out to you. I'm not saying no one might fake it. Love the fact that someone is actually talking about mental health and taking it seriously!!! People still think that mental health illness is not serious if so, why are people doing suicides and why are there mental institutions? People spend their entire life learning and teaching about mental health. If it was not serious then why are there researches and studies done on mental health. People especially asian parents need to understand that dismissing and ignoring mental health illnesses will only risk lives and getting professional help for it should be normalized!!!! Goodies to deepika who is so popular and has no need to do this is talking about it. I am pretty sure she knew that she will be trolled and criticized by public and media but she still chose to talk about it !! Goodies!! I remember people saying that i am too poor to have depression like deepika which left me speechless but reading comments under this video makes me happier that people are actually understanding the seriousness of mental health illnesses ..goodies to deepika for understanding that people struggle with mental illnesses like depression and the people around them just dismiss them like its nothing .. 🎉🎉🎉

Exactly! These big BW celebs are so privileged that they see hardships and struggles as depression and make a name out of it for themselves. In real depression one doesn't enjoy success anymore, doesn't care about fame, they become lost souls and have to seek professional help as soon as possible and if they don't do that on time they stop being positive/happy or even commit suicide. Real depression kills people from within and about time we see this in their face and in their behaviour. But DP enjoyed a big fame and name in those years while she claims to be in depression. Go back through those years and see how she lived her BW lifestyle. There is not a single sign of depression. I agree there are some times we feel low and have no motivation to go on but that is not depression. It's called anxiety attack or just mentally exhausted due to hardwork, which most people face whether rich or poor. A smart person knows this depression drama was a PR strategy by DP, a publicity stunt that gave her a lot of attention because depression is indeed one of the most talked topic in today's time.

@@divyaagarwal7237 Yup agreeable. And there are so many ways people try to cope with it and not all ways are justified. Who are us to decide. A depressed person chooses coping mechanisms his/her own way. Some people do cuts and wounds just for the healing and soothing process...some happen to get addicted to sexual stuff.. some fall for drugs..some get abusive to family or hurt their close ones then become more alone. It all goes downhill from there. Some recover from that all. Some don't. Reason for depression is not doing drugs. Drugs are bad everyone knows... But it happens bcz a depressed person makes bad decisions and choses to take drugs sometimes (if he/she can afford) trying to phase out for sometime. Which isn't a good coping strategy but ya she chose that ...many people fall for it. But at the end she is her own person and did something good with her life at the end so ya it's a part of journey.
@sweetkorn.3 жыл бұрын
@@pranamjshetty9658 Bcz when you're empty and depressed you don't really know you are. And you realise it very late. Even if you realise...in india it's a huge stigma and the person doesn't want to accept this themselves that they are depressed. There's really an acceptance issue first of all. And if one accepts that ok they are depressed then comes the family, friends and society who try to make fun about it or don't acknowledge it as a real issue. They just say ki arey aise hi ho ra h it's gonna be fine and bla bla and chill etc. And 10-15 saal pehle to vaise hi nobody cared or even acknowledged this all as an issue. Us time koi treatments bhi ni hote the india me to bilkul bhi ni. Koi jaye to kaha. So anti-depressants and counciling to koi person tab lega na jab vo accept kr le ki han mujhe koi medical issue hai aur isko theek krna h. It happens ki ni pata chalta h. So get over it bro. Stop joking about this thing ki ji drugs na milne se ho gyi thi isko to depression. Bcz that's not how it happens. And it's not a joke.

The Bible tells us to be filled with joy and praise (Philippians 4:4; Romans 15:11), so God apparently intends for us all to live joyful lives. This is not easy for someone suffering from situational depression, but it can be remedied through God’s gifts of prayer, Bible study and application, support groups, fellowship among believers, confession, forgiveness, and counseling. We must make the conscious effort to not be absorbed in ourselves, but to turn our efforts outward. Feelings of depression can often be solved when those suffering with depression move the focus from themselves to Jesus Christ.
