you should silver your own mirrors in house, it's dummy easy, and materials work out to ~75¢ a foot, waaay cheaper than other alternative methods, you'd get a museum quality product, for cheaper than acrylic, film, or third party solutions, keeping costs down and quality high means it's gonna be an easier sell, which means higher returns, and easier adoption of the product consumer side. would love to have one of these with the low distortion and high depth of solid glass.
