Thank you. This is very useful. I've been loading/saving patches only via SysEx & MIDI-OX because I couldn't figure out how to properly use the preset manager program. This makes loading & saving patches a lot easier.

ROFLMAO Bill gave you a bank of defaults which you downloaded....trolled you big time lol...A good idea would be to right click on the PHAT12 folder and send it to desktop as a shortcut to save you hunting it down every time....Appreciate the video excellent information dude.

No need for the Testbank. Create a new Bank and copy it on the Stock Bank.128 empty Patches,Boom. I just started to Backup all the Banks to my Computer then organizing them into Groups(like Bass,Arp,Pad...) First Time i did this it seemed like i deleted ALLPatches(also my Backups).. like in your Video- restart the App and there you go. ;-)

I know, lets make it real easy to upload patches to the deepmind, we wont put an import feature, instead we'll just make a folder hidden in AppData with a name not at all obvious that it's for the deepmind where you can put your sysex files. Super easy, but then we wont tell anyone. Thank you so much for this video! I don't know why it was so hard for Behringer to just add an import feature. I also don't know why I didn't think to try the drag and drop method listed in the comments, that one is on me, but still and import button would be nice.

Actually, there is a little keyboard (keys) icon that indicates a bank on the hardware. Left of right doesn't matter, though. There are situations where you might want to organize or move programs within the keyboard, from bank to the other, so you might need the keyboard on both sides.

Theres a better way to import the .syx files. Drag them on to the DM12 software and they will show without closing the app etc... They show instant!

There is GLOBAL -- EXPORT, then you can select DUMP TYPE - MIDI, USB, or WiFi. I'm not sure what you will be dumping to. I have 2 Deepminds, so I program sounds on the keyboard, then MIDI Dump them to the module. You can dump one program, a whole bank, your chord settings, etc. Pretty easy to have my module mirror the keyboard. Of course, you can simply select a program and WRITE it to any other location you want.

At the top of your page, click VIEW. Make sure and check the HIDDEN ITEMS checkbox. This will reveal the APP DATA folder. I cover it, starting at the 6:48 mark. I should have had it at the beginning.

My wife's girlfriend was an avid computer gamer. She gave it to me. Around 12 - 13 seconds into the video, you can see the REALsync logo (upper left). It's old, but kind of cool. Nowadays, I use the 32" widescreen, like the one on the left. Have you installed the Deepmind12 app on your computer? I'm guessing it appears when you install the app. I'm not sure where else it could come from. Perhaps, if you download some sysex sounds for the DM.

Hey man. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get this to work... I did everything you showed in the video. When I copy a bank from right to left, the loading parametre is showing, but nothing is showing on the display on the deepmind12. The bank wont be copyed to the synth. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Is your App up to date? Go to SETTINGS to see the App Version. I'm on 1.04, but 1.05 can be downloaded, here: www.behringer.com/downloads.html The Deepmind won't show the changes, until you actually switch to another bank and then come back to the bank you loaded to. If you're downloading to Bank B, switch to Bank A, then come back to B to see the changes. Check out the 4:15 mark in the video for an example of this. Before this video, with the DM module., I did a handheld version with my DM keyboard. It might be worth a look, to make sure you are following the same steps. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3TMmXZnjtKsY5I

Hi, I wanted to buy patches from ultimatepatches.com. Can I accidentally deleted the stock patches that come with Deepmind? Because I dont want to that happen and Im still confuse with this program.

The Deepmind can restore all the stock patches. Press GLOBAL 5 times (or get to the 5th page). At the bottom of the screen you'll see BACKUP. From there, you can restore any or all banks. My suggestion is also save your stock banks to your computer. This way, you can load up a bank in the app and pick and choose the programs you like most.

Why the heck didnt they just make ONE User Bank that is empty ( looks like really small amount of info). The idea of having to blank out the original system files is so stupid. All this transfer from arcane computer files is insane

Most of the presets in bank A are duplicates. You can save over any of them. It would have been nice to have an SD card slot, but a lot of synths don't, including my Virus.
