Welche Rock Band zuvor hat mit dem L.S.O. in der ehrwürdigen Royal Albert Hall in den 1970ern jemals ein Konzert gegeben? R.I.P. Jon Lord und Tommy Bolin. Earlier in this concert he sang "Sitting in a Dream" during which he demonstrated the pretty side of his tenor voice. Gillan sang that song during the live performance of "Butterfly Ball" because the story goes that Blackmore wouldn't let Dio leave his Rainbow commitment at the time so Gillan filled in at the last minute. Of course, Gillan nailed it. I appreciate how Dio gets a little lost for a second because it's not his song and Gillan respectfully helps him get back by pointing and mouthing the words to Dio. Then Dio thanks his friend with an arm gesture and singing "hey." Everyone is just having so much fun.
