I personally think ChatGPT is fantastic (specifically, the GPT-4 and o1 models). The turbo or GPT-3 models are mediocre though. GPT-4 and o1 give me excellent responses

@@blacklite911 could be possible could be not, although I don't believe sentience can be manufactured, general intelligence doesn't have to be sentient, but looking back at the real space race, it gave so much tech as a result of the competition yet no final result was had, putting a man on the moon was more of a cultural dominance victory than anything else, there were no rules that stated a man on the moon was the final challenge, the competition just kept going until one of the superpowers achieved something the other couldn't, the same can happen with ai, only difference is, now the private sector is part of the race, how that will turn out to be only time will tell

From my unprofessional testing just asking ridiculous questions, I find Deepseek feels more AI and human-like with better reasoning. ChatGPT on the other hand feels like a robot that can't think outside the box.

You are not considering certain things in your test, first as you said deepseek r1 is not for writing but for reasoning. Second it did exactly what you told it to do in your seo tool creation so it doesn't matter if chat gpt did it better, they both got it e.t.c. so don't just do rough tests do very accurate tests

ChatGPT has not been dethroned. people are downloading it to test it and check it out. Heres my take on this: 1. Deepseek is slower. 2. Deepseek uses more slang in its output. Although this helps evade AI detectors youre likely not going to get kudos from your boss or professor whern you start a report with. Hey Dude so heres what I gotta say. The reason AI detectors dont detect it is because AI detectors are engineered to detect ChatGPT responses not Deepseek responses. This will change. in summary, just like everything else made in china Deep seek is a cheaper imopersonation of an American innovation. Eventually they may create something comparable that is less expensive as this is one of China's strengths. ie, Beta to VHS.
