I’ve watched you for years. Haven’t always agreed but enjoy contemplating your opinions. Sometimes I’m swayed in my thinking. Your latest porch time has me concerned. I’m 55 and have been growing the majority of my veggies for 4 years. I’m a late bloomer (haha)!! Time to start getting serious about collecting my own seeds!

I call it Dirt here in Iowa but I'm a rebel lol . I'm happiest when I can have my hands in the dirt . Iowa is a love hate location for me. I hurt in the cold weather because of my arthritis and the humidity effects my COPD and asthma . I'd love to live down south but the humidity would be a no for me . I'd love the 2 growing seasons. Moles dont like human urine. To prevent moles from ruining our lawns in Michigan, we would pour urine in mole holes and it worked.

Danny, my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago. After working right at 30 years in healthcare I cannot tell you how right you are. Cancer has become a cash cow. I agree with you one day we will have to answer for it

It's Dirt! Soil is too close to sole or soul or cell while dirt is dirt! I think soil came into any use around here because the potting dirt for sale in the store was labeled soil by the manufacturer and then again with the green political movement but I say dirt and no one's ever corrected me or looked weolord at me!
