I highly recommend the JoMax product (I get mine at Home Depot or via Amazon). You mix the JoMax concentrate with bleach and water and it made my house's siding and trim look brand new again. There is something in it that seems to dissolve spider webs or at least make them turn loose of where they are connected. It is a real time saver.

We are now living in our third Log Cabin that we have built personally ourselves. 30 years ago the CWF was an entirely different product and it did great in Leakesville Mississippi's humidity. However 10 years ago when we built our house in Lucedale Mississippi the CWF Formula had changed considerably and was no longer as good to prevent mildew and discoloration. Likewise we used it once and went with a different product we have now been in our Log Cabin 10 years in Lucedale and a product that we have chose is the Cabot stain and sealer for outside. For the last five years it is worked very well.

Things look great and seem to work well for y'all. Did yall put something solid behind the lattice? Just wondering. We just picked up a 100 lb propane tank at tractor supply yesterday they have them on special for 99.00. Ours at the retreat was stolen about 6 months ago. We haven't needed it since because no heat needed but getting one to replace was good. If someone wants to break in nothing can stop them. Make your place as nice as you want and enjoy. When our place was robbed we had someone staying 800 feet from our barn where they were able to break in and steal our 4 wheeler our propane tank and various large tools. It happens it was our first burglary in about 20 years and our first ever at that location. Bitter pill but not going to make us quit living the way we choose.

People that talk about plumbing should be plumbers. I forget now where it was but builders built a subdivision where all the houses had 1 half inch sewer vent in the plumbing system to prove that it was sufficiant to vent a sewer system. It worked just fine . The purpose was to cut cost to the homeowner. You see how far that went.

I don't understand anyone who thinks that being off grid is shabby or bad to do. With a little forethought it can all be done beautifully and will save your bacon one day. I'm slowly( much slower than y'all) getting my systems up and running. I chose to do my water system first then on to my power. I got my new metal roof this month so i can now set up the water catchment system for my animals and gardens. Then i will be setting up solar for my animals. I have rabbits so they require fans over half of the year and will be using lights for my quail in the winter to keep egg production up. Hopefully in the next few years i will be able to put in a full solar array to run my house. Until then i just keep on keeping on the same way I've been doing. One foot in front of the other is how you get things done , right?? Thank you for all your videos and how to's. Have a blessed Thanksgiving and many more to come
