I still remember when I was child, Amit Lodha was the SP of Nalanda along with Anand Kishore as DM in 2005. There were such incidents which happened that year which he also discussed in his book which reminded me of my child days. Hope on day will meet him in person. Well, I agree that one should not be overly dependent on outside force to drive them as this would amount to handing over the agency or autonomy to others for your happiness. But, this goes hand in hand with the ability to persuade (comes by being well read, experienced and travelled) others around your point of view (parents, Life partner, children, siblings, team mates, office colleagues, business partners, etc.) as something becomes meaningful... materially if it resonate with some amount of people who hold the power (money and others forms), so to seek material one needs to have some element of resonance with outside world. According to me life is all about finding the reasonable degree of balance (each one of us have different) and learn to accept which you cannot change and laugh at the imperfections of our own existence and world around us.

Dear chetan sir, thanks for interviewing amit sir. You asked him questions on issues which youngsters of india generally have. Depression, anxiety and addiction to social media has become very common. I also suffer extreme depression due to failures in exams. This much I can say tell dat solution of depression is not in external or instant gratification. One should be peace with his own self. Being a bihari i appreciate his genuine love for my home state bihar. He nabbed the famous criminal when he was SP of my home district sheikhpura. He has worked in both undivided bihar n bihar after division. ( division of Bihar pained bihari people a lott). He has lived in bihar more dan me. He calls bihar his Karmbhumi n accepted bihar with its good n bad. I realised after reading his book dat around 99 when I used to live in lavish diaptoli cantt ranchi . My papa ji being GE ranchi ( MES). sir was posted in bero near ranchi with no facilites. After reading his both books I admire Amit sir wife Mrs. Tanu lodha more who has been his pillar of strength . 🙏
