With regards to Optimus, I think you have to distinguish between 3 versions of Optimus. 1) Optimus for a Tesla factory 2) Optimus for another company's factory 3) Optimus for a home. I think they will make the dead-line for 1) - no problem in 2026 or even some of it before- this will increase car margins in 2027 or before. For 2) it may be 2027 and for 3) 2028 or later. Optimus for the home has to be super safe - it cannot fall onto a child or old person. In this sense both Elon and Gene are correct - Gene you just need to explain which Optimum you are describing.

To me, TSLA is one of the worst overhyped stocks. It’s trading at valuations like NVDA but has minimal growth.

@@qball66 actually I didn’t say that. Which tells you how uneducated you are. I said it is overhyped. Which it is. They released earnings that were horrible. But because Musk hyped it up, the stock went up. That’s a fact. Also, I don’t short the stock because of how volatile it is. Tell me what makes the company great. You can’t say anything other than some future projections that nobody knows when they will happen.

@@robin-jewsbury oh I do believe that at some point, part of what TSLA speaks of will happen. But many TSLA investors and even analysts treat the company differently than any other company that performs like it does. Also, if somebody said you have to wait until 2028 to see things happen, I’d call that dead money.

From everything I've heard from people who have actually read the white paper, this was a real break through in AI training. Ofc the big players will keep their capex spend high for 2025, but what happens when it plateaus or even dips in 2026? We all know markets are forward looking and so if that's the case, then NVDA's stock will have already most likely peaked
