I like deepwoken and I think it’s a good game but I hate how it did not do the ONE thing every game is supposed to do, welcome new players. This game is hard especially for newbies like me. Dark souls however isn’t nearly as easy, but if ur a god then u know how to do it well. (In dark souls a parry is hard cause it almost guaranties half of it ur hp or more depending on stats

The worst threat in deepwoken isn’t entirely the npcs, but the players. If a high level player finds you, they will kill you without hesitation. I’ve lost a lot of saves to this fact alone. Some guy explained to me that they kill you to increase their luck, but killing low level players doesn’t give you much, yet a lot of players still do it. Since there are no private servers you can’t just solo grind without being concerned about other players. The success of your character in deepwoken is based on three things, skill, luck, and knowledge. Skill to beat npcs, knowledge to know how to survive, luck to not accidentally run into players or deadly npcs.
