This is a true deer camp, thank you for taking some time out of your vacation to take some videos. My friends and i are a bit younger than your group but we hope to keep this tradition alive. Wisconsin deer camp should never falter. Thank you for your service my friend.

Thanks for sharing. I live in FL my family goes up every year to deer camp in the Apalachicola National Forest for a week. We have been doing this for 40 years or so. Now it is tradition and many of the original fellas are no longer with us and as it evolved from just family to family and friends now. Every now and then we get a deer but as your closing text said, we do it now more for the tradition and for hanging out with friends that we see once per year at the camp.

Man does that bring back some good memories! We had a school bus we converted into a camper! It would sleep eight and had a stove heater and a sink as well

Love your real deer camp, it's all you need to hunt. From WV and use to use a small pop up trailer in deer season and took it to Ohio the next week to hunt there. Granted the weather is not the same. Nice set up guys.

Thanks for givin' us a real hunting camp rather than the pussey camps that dominate the utube ! Nuttin' wrong with making things more comfy but the pussey " hunters " have turned comfort into an obsession ! So, it's a real treat comin' along with you guys ...thanks...and best of luck ...

Thank you for taking the time and showing us your Deer Camp. It was great to see how guys put their heads together and build their camps. The bus was my favorite, and whoever thought up that trailer sauna must have got a lot of grief when he camp up with the idea, but who’s laughing now? That big trailer in the back with the bunk beds was sweet, and that gun rack/safe😉 was smartly designed/built. I’m curious about the bus with the built in cabin. Do they drive it like that?

Yes, they actually drive it about 180 miles one way from home to deer camp then back again. They also drive it out west for elk hunting and other events

No, but I contract Westinghouse for a lot of work where I work. I manage the nuclear reactor refueling at Point Beach nuclear plant
