I had a 2002 Aliner for a while. I remember parking at a free camp near Noosa which was FULL of backpackers. Then that night, boy did it rain. It was tropical rain but the temperature dropped too so it was very cold. In the morning I remember watching all of the poor souls from the window of my Aliner. Many of them were completely drenched, picking their stuff up out of the mud. Rough night for these young ones. Some were sitting in the aftermath of the rain with the most miserable faces I've ever seen. And there I was, watching them all through the window with a warm coffee in hand, the King of the Campsite. (I dramatised it a bit but it is a true story)

Thank you for the video. I've been watching Mr Potato Head with his Aliner. He used ether pool noodles or pipe insulation on the edge of his hinges and edges to prevent the loss of heat it seemed to work real well for him. Just a suggestion to help out! He also built a small wood stove for the inside of his with a chimney and it worked on wood pellets so it would last longer and use less wood he really is quite the inventor!

Same as you do when tent camping. Most state campgrounds have toilets and running water to wash with. In the wilderness, dig a shallow hole to use that, or you can buy a camping toilet. Wet naps are a godsend, and on some surplus or camping sites you can get whole body wash towels. Truck stops often have shower facilities for a small fee, too. None of this is hard.
