Deer Hunting 1 Bullet 2 Deer

With the freezer down to literally 2 bags of mince left we set out to get a freezer filler to see us through until the roar. With the morning glare in my face and the deer half covered in the shrubs i sent the shot off not knowing there was another directly behind. I wouldnt normally take that shot but lucky it turned out like it did.

A side view vs a straigt view makes the difference. When it happened to me, I thought the smaller deer had kept walking, as she had started moving from my shooting alley. I was following the bigger deer and looking up to check my alley as the bigger deer was moving into range. The smaller deer was perfectly behind the bigger one when I took the shot. Fortunately, my older son was filming from directly over my head. (We were in a 5x10 ft trailer blind.

Yeah mate I agree . It's funny how some people don't believe you. A different angle gives a totally different perspective. I wasn't complaining tho. Full freezer with prime fallow 😁

Yep... vid was taken 60mtrs to my left.i could only see 1 deer where I was and yes I agree see what's behind your quarry. In this case a hill. Just one of those things. 100 % agree with you tho be aware of your target.

Very easy to judge when you can replay a vid multiple times vs being in the bush in the moment … imo
