I have been displaced do to a plant explosion in port neches. I am currently at my grandmother's house. She has a simply safe system. I must say it is nice. Hey Rob. I’m 14 years old and just killed my first ever deer Saturday. It was a 6 point buck weighing 190lbs! I hunt in Alabama and what made it even better is i shot him with my bow! It was my goal to kill my first deer with a bow. Love your videos Rob. Keep up the great work ❤️

Spent my first three days of deer season sitting on a bucket in a swampy brushy river bottom with my feet on highly saturated ground. Had one chance at a doe except one hand was in my pack reaching for a sandwich and there were two trees in the way. The next two days were half days at a dry place I've never been to just walking around exploring for maybe next year. Today I walked for about three hours up and down hills. Plus we had up to 40 mph wind gusts.

Great hunt! Filling the freezer. A friend of mine only eats deer. When his parents were living, he got 2 for them, 2 for the in-laws, and 4 or 5 fore himself. Like he said, so many would starve. He got some for the landowners that let him hunt. And, after, there were several places that had salt blocks and corn till spring....no waste, no starvation. He used st soak his in vinegar to get the game taste out.

Awesome buck man, to keep warm in a tree stand I first put on my insulated under clothing and then I tape hand warmers to the inside of my thighs and under my arms to help keep my blood warm and it seems to work for me, again thats a nice buck👍

Granted ODWC won't cite you for it most generally. It is however a law on the books for in the field hunters to follow of 400 sq inches from waist up comprised of a head garment and vest. Not following safety laws and good practices on a large platform can be a poor choice. I.e. no safety harness or orange. ODWC does cite off social media. Pigman found out for shooting a Turkey over bait on his t.v. show. You do you though. Still a nice buck and I hope you enjoyed our great state.
