Strike King is ass. I’ve found that the Wal-Mart generic brand short bill cranks are worth it. I had a crawl pattern and the cheap bright Wal-Mart brand out fished the name brand. Forgot what brand was the name brand. Point being, some lures are just more efficient than others. Suggestions being try it all. Certain color schemes, shades of colors, times of day, time of year, water clarity, but I mostly fly fish for everything because I like a challenge. And just enjoy the craft.

You need to add some trophy florida/northern strains or a new strain of f1’s (with different parents from your existing batch). A lake with a single f1 batch (from same parents) will crash in a few years due to inbreeding. I also suggest adding trophy florida/northern bass/fry so the fishery has the option of new f1’s or pure’s in the future. This will also encourage the longevity of good bass genetics.
