Great video. My friends and I all wore those hats in high school. I haven't seen one in years. Still wear the suspenders, wool and hickory shirts. Love old jeeps. Hope to find a pickup I can afford someday.

I remember my dad telling me stories about when they went hunting in the Bighorn mountains in Wyoming there was a place off the highway where the jeeps would have to winch down into and then they could go on the 2 track goat trail because it was to steep my dad had willys wagons and old scouts and travelalls

My dad had a 1952 Willys pickup. He and his hunting friends would head out to Utah and hunt each season. On many of those hunts his Willys was the only vehicle that could move in camp because of the mud or snow. He usually came home with a new dent, scar or mirror missing as a reminder of the hunt. Chaining up was part of the deal but the old Willys never failed. It had a top highway speed of 50 mph.....down hill but when up in the hills, just as in the video it eared it's keep. Unfortunatley I rolled his old truck when I was 15 being a dumb kid. We went right out and found another one, a 1957 that I got to pay for and fix up. I drove that truck until I graduated college and had enough money to aford a new jeep. It is in the garage at this date along with another jeep I purchased some years back to hopefully pass along to my two kids some day. I plan to find and restore another willys truck some if I live long enough. Great video. Thank you,
