One of my favorite towns. Enjoy going to the Draft Horse and Mule show at the fairgrounds. We liked eating at Scharf's Café until it closed. They had a great breakfast there. Just a great place to be.

I worked at the Milwaukee Road roundhouse in St. Paul in the 1970’s and in March of 1976 about a dozen men transferred out here after the Deer Lodge roundhouse closed after the electrified line got shut down. Nice guys.

Born in the Old Catholic Hospital on April 28, 1948. The big round top Barn to the right entering town ➡ is on the old Williams & Taveneer ranch site State Park, is sitting on "Cattle Drive" before the Fairgrounds {Arena} to the left ⬅. The last few bigger "industrial-sized buildings are the Old Territorial Prison site with the main cell blocks in the big stone walls to the right ➡. The inmates called the joint "The stone with seven eyes" (meaning guard towers). Yup‼ ~ G.-G.

My good memories go back to the 1970's, ,a street named LARRABEE Good friends, BILL and JEWEL ABBOTT, sure wish I could return . .Life is so ' funny '. I COULD 😢 😭 . .
