Deer Park, NY - Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1003 - Salute Sound Off - Hi-Lo (Fire) Signal - 4/5/20

This siren is the Deer Park Fire Department's District Wide Siren. It is sounded everyday at noon, and for working fires. This siren is located atop the Deer Park FD in Deer Park, NY on Lake Avenue.
Tonight, I visited the Deer Park Fire Department to record their Thunderbolt 1003 for the Suffolk County, NY "Sirens at 7" event that took place on April 5, 2020 at 7:00 PM EDT. This siren was sounded in honor of our brave healthcare providers that have a mission to prevent the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Incorrect. Those are only less significant ways to tell a reverse wired thunderbolt. The telltale sign of a reverse wired thunderbolt is a brief cut off in the sound once the blower shuts off. The blower sounds a bit louder because the siren is a bit quieter. The wind-up sounds perfectly normal and the wind-down is slightly longer because the blower is leaking, resulting in it influencing the chopper less.
