When I was 14 or 15 my parents took me with them on a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean and while we were in St Thomas USVI my dad and I went on an 8 hour fishing charter on a 44' boat just like that one, but it had a flying bridge, and I caught a 7.5 lb blackfin tuna, 5 or 6 big barracuda, and a 28.5 lb 58.5" Mahi Mahi. It was one of the best fishing charters I've ever been on. I grew up in Brandon, Florida (near Tampa) and I've been fishing in MANY places, but I've never caught a tarpon, sailfish, marlin, wahoo (although my dad caught a good sized one in Aruba) or a good size tuna. I live near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania now, but one day I will move back to Florida and I will be fishing for most of my retirement years (IF I live that long, I'm already a cancer survivor).
