A lot of people don’t realize that this is the average level of play in almost every state besides California, Texas, and Florida. You might have some gems in other states like prep schools with mad money but this is your general high school level action. Kind of refreshing to see because a lot of these top tier programs warp young kids minds about what to expect out of their high school performance. Most if not all of these kids in the video won’t touch a college field but they’re still out there putting in hard work and learning important lessons!

When I moved to Indiana from Katy, Texas and played up there I was like "Tf is this bullshit?" Im out there wondering what period football class is and people was like nah its just an after school thing. I was like when tf we supposed to watch film and do no pad run throughs?? It was an absolute joke. Had to quit for basketball because it felt like football wasnt taken seriously at all. Not to mention having to play as a back and the O-line not blocking for shit, broke my damn wrist messing with them. And they weren't doing 2 a days in the summer or spring training. Football is a lifestyle in Texas. School really comes 2nd.
