Damn, time flies! Seems like this just came out yesterday and it was the year my daughter was born. She's 21 now, but grew up with Def Leppard and appreciates them to this day so I think I did my duty as a responsible father :)

I have been a fan since they came out with pyromania. This song reminds me of the girl I dated a long time ago. We were engaged to be married when we graduated from High school, but while we were getting the plans in motion she died of a drug overdose. I knew she was hooked, but she went to rehab and got clean so we could be married, but the temptation was to much and I found her dead in her apartment one morning. I loved her very much and I still think about here to this day and visit her grave every holiday and birthday. To me she is what heaven was to me and she always will be. She was my first and greatest love. I hope one day to reunite with her up there.

I'm working on getting them to do a Father/Daughter concert here in Phx co-head-lining with One Direction, my daughter's favorite band, to raise money for charity It's a long shot and I'm no concert promoter, but people are talking to me about it, including the local radio station DJs and the stadium management company. Child Protective Services and Phoenix Domestic Violence shelters. AZ doesn't do nearly enough for those who need it the most, so I thought I'd try this...my backup plan is a huge house party (with entrance fees going to charity) in July, so either way, we'll raise money to help :)

I have a soft spot for the Adrenalize singles since that's how I discovered Def Lep when I was 11. This song is so melodic and catchy. I'm sure it would've been huge if it came out during 1987-90 instead of 1992-93.
