Yeah, the lack of skintone and hair Texture variety (and hair fiber quality) is my biggest gripe with Lucy, if they fixed that they'd be top tier. Thank you for watching and commenting 💖☺️

My green hair one has totally jank hair but feels really nice. Also would like some black dolls- they do have one really cute on in their budget line that I want next if I can find it

OMG THEY ARE SO PRETTY, my fav was the girl with yellow hair. I actually wanted to have just at least 2 Defa Lucy dolls. But for some reason I haven't gotten them, because of they're Poly hair. I hate poly hair type. Because you can't style them and very sensitive ( I have a doll with poly hair). I wish they gave them at least Kanekalon hair(?) or Nylon instead(?) so at least I have a spark to buy them... Just my opinion

I am a like you at the moment, more into thrifting and second hand/ebaying but these Defa Lucy are stunning. They are $33 Australian on Shein so almost $100 for the three so I am putting them off for the time being. All my Defa Lucy dolls came in the same smooshed condition except for the denim and the basic lot which came in cardboard shippers. Funny how the more you pay the more damaged the boxes are. The only things I will be buying without question is the Sparkle and Shine Rainbow High dolls but I am going to customise them so they are closer to the Fantasy Skintones.

I actually really like these three - the faces and the hair colours and styles as well as the fashion choices all seem spot on. My favourite would be the Pizzazz lookalike, it would have been space buns girl but the rooting put me off.

Now this is so strange that people find ordinary Chinese dolls now sometimes cuter than Barbie. How much did Mattel's quality for Barbie have to drop? I don’t think that anyone tried to repeat the boxes and styles of 2000 from Barbie, and besides, that design is not that interesting and special, it’s just that whoever came up with the design of these dolls was a mellennial who grew up at that time. I have three Defa Lucys and love them.

@@marilynmcfall7637 Then you will have to give up collecting Mattel and MGA dolls and even Simba Steffi. They are all made in China, in Chinese factories by the Chinese. You can collect Paola Reina, it is made in Spain.👍😌
