+Jeliazko Zlatev Good question! Autorun would not stop the attack as it isn't dependent on the OS to execute the payload. You are correct that if you interrupt the cmd keyboard input it will stop the attack.

The device needs to be connected only for the duration of the payload to run. The victim will continue to use the rouge AP until they either manually change it or leave physical proximity of the signal. I hope that answers your question.
