FOR EVERY DUDE WHOS AZURE DUST DOES NOT MAKE HIM LOSE HIS SHIELD FULLY: once you’re out of the transformation, cloud step and catch him in a moment where you can use wandering wight on him, then some light attacks, and continue from that point on with a combo immobilize staff spin and one heavy blow as he goes into his final shield of the fight. Hope this helps yall out as I had to do this to beat him and was stumped for a long time.

None of these work for me I can basically perfect dodge or evade everything he throws at me. When throw the wind tornado he stumbles back and will break his animation and attack while within it , if I transform he will turn into a bird or white tiger and knock me out of it and if I evade or dodge those two he will shoot a golden beam and also knock me out of the transformation. If I hit him with a heavy and stagger him he will immediately teleport across the map and spam the giant hammers twice in a row or he will attack continuously with no break in between until I evade and run out of my stamina resulting in an instant grab attack by stabbing me with his spear. Even when I use cloud step he still will target me or attack me. Bro is stressing me the hell out.

If you say you can perfect dodge or evade everything, but your spells don’t work, try spellbinder then, you get the extra damage but no spells to use. You’ll be able to take down his shield much quicker and do more damage.

Cloud step + charged heavy attack is the way to go, man. Just beat him on Normal mode a few minutes ago (my char was lvl 137 though lol)

He's not that hard, if he attacks when inside the tornado just step out and wait for a bit, when his stance is down he will be vulnerable to immobilize. Try to build a high Qi generation build, you will have at least 3 fan vessel charges during the fight. Also, use Azure dust for transformation, he usually mocks you (doesn't work 100% but works more than other transformations) and walks, opening a window for you to break his stance.

Look up best and easy erlang shen destroyer build at level 69 by HumbleDK. His guide is way easier to follow. At the start, run in the middle of the arena and immediately use the wind fan because he will jump at u as the first attack. When he is getting stunned by the tornado just use regular light attack until shield breaks. As soon as it breaks u use the wandering wight spirit. After that hits him u use immobilize and just keep staff spinning. With the whole equipment load out the video has, that should mostly recharge the wind fan so u just need to do a couple more light attacks to replenish it and repeat that exact process. The only spells you will need is immobilize, cloud step to get out of a bad situation, and transformation to do some damage without losing any of ur actual health. Watch the video to see his equipment in detail tho otherwise my comment will be 100x longer lol

Golden armor set should be easily craftable. This is the only armor set that works for this strategy because of the Qi regeneration on crit hits. That is precisely what allows us to spam the fan.

Make sure it is fully cultivated. If it doesn't break, still keep on him and keep the attacks going bc he will recover his shield over time if you don't attack.
