FYI: The terrarium only goes dormant after skipping a night with the twins of terror. Normally, if you skip a night after the (singular) eye of terror, it won't go on break for 15 days.

I think you should do an all cheese, all luck speedrun where you don't purposefully nerf yourself. (ancient guardian cheese, using low-drop rate items, etc.)

This might be faster since it's basically constant mightyness. By the way, hunger scales the mightyness meter, and you should try marble suits, they're really good with reworked wolfgang since he doesn't get slowed down. Edit note: Hunger actually scales how much mightyness you get by a VERY little bit. (with that, i mean like, 0,25 less.)

You are talking to a kiting player and telling him that the rework is faster? He would take the 25% speed boost anytime of the week over the marble suit. Also farming marble only would slow the run.

Yeah, I too find this a lil' unfair... to himself ;D even if you don't need that much inventory space, you can just make one less chest and have more boat patches or something, idk not a DST expert here ;D but hey, use that RNG if you can (not specifically about the crampy ballsack) save time, we'd love to see you improve, your speedruns /w commentary are so entertaining and impressive!

I think it’s mainly just to level the playing field, there’d be people out there saying that he only got such a fast speed because he used the krampus sack (which wouldn’t be true, it’s not really advantageous in a speedrun), so it’s more worth it just to leave it. In a regular run that isn’t being uploaded to hundreds of thousands of people, I think anyone would take the sack, however that isn’t the case here

I’m definitely not as good as you are, but one thing I did find helpful: Only use the golden dumbell when mighty. When you are normal or wimpy, the golden and gem dumbbell both increase mightiness by 2 per lift. When mighty, the gem continues to do two while the gold is lowered significantly. That means the most efficient thing to do is to use the golden dumbell when normal or wimpy and then switch to the gem dumbell when mighty.

I really want to speed run bosses, but didn’t do all the bosses yet. But I want to try and do runs seems like a lot of fun. @@Awesum You have to consider more things before going into a boss fight. Things are not as simple as in the old days when you could just eat to full mighty. I also love how his mighty form is useful outside of combat, that made him more versatile, plus he is a lot more consistent with being mighty

Wow, I've played don't starve since its beta as single player game, and I remember when Wolfgang released as he was totally busted, he simply had the attack damage bonus just out of box, and his only drawback was that he lost more sanity than a regular character, and I used to thought they killed him after the first rework lol

@@Jakeyosaurus Yeah, knock him down is what I meant. You can pull it off way easier now. People planning on longer worlds can even use the opportunity to use the free drop and get a quick Scalemail, rendering the fight itself easier.

@@zeeb2190 If you can deal enough damage fast enough, you can knock Dragonfly down in order to attack her. She'll drop a scale as a reward. Normally this only happens when your playing with others in order to deal that much damage, but Wolfgang at double damage (and maybe with the help of some spicy food from Warly) can achieve that just fine.

Here’s an idea, what if you did a run where everything was allowed? Cheese, rare drops, etc. It would be a very try hard run but I think it would be interesting to watch. As a note, I do agree with your reasons for not cheesing it and appreciate you not as a viewer, I just think it would interesting to compare the runs between cheese vs no cheese. There are 3 types of dumbells, the normal one, the golden dumbell, and the gembell You can also replace the potato sacks on the gym for heavier stuff, the best being boss statues Also while your mighty, you can also throw the three aformentioned dumbells, the better it is, the more damage it deals

You probably alradt know this but wolfgang ,when mighty , gets resistance for winter and summer so basically temperature changes slower for both ways. It takes longer to freeze AND overheat

I've noticed that compared to my team members who play maxwell and wortox as mighty Wolfgang I'm overheating way faster and longer during the Dragonfly boss fight is their a reason for this

@@PakistaniGoatMilker94 that depends on how you're fighting him. If your in a box iys possible your too close to the larvae when they blow. Otherwise you shouldn't be overheating at all.

@@PakistaniGoatMilker94 when you‘re near a heat source, Wolfgang’s natural insulation makes it so when you step away from it, you fall back to the world’s temperature much slower - you don’t get hotter faster, but the gradual buildup of temperature doesn’t fall as fast as other characters do, so he ends up overheating. It’s actually a real big disadvantage in the dragonfly fight, because when he’s over 70°, it takes so long for him to fall below it again even when stood away from a heat source

Don't want to be THAT person, but I simply have to do it. So Pierogi are indeed great, but they are already in the plural form (the "i" and the end makes it so. If u want to make it singular you delete "i" at the end and make "o" the "ó") so you shouldn't add "s". Sorry for being a bit of a grammar nazi, and sorry for my English if it's hard to understand. Funny thing about Wolfgang is that only the marble peices slow wolfgang down and nothing else so the speed buff went to nullify the penalties
