congrats on beating floor 50! uril tf is disgustingly strong, he can basically solo most UL stages that are aku or relic based, and he can completely shut down annoying relics like m. ost or lowkey. it's important to note also that cursing a relic prevents them from cursing you, so he can act as free curse immunity for your units

Cat-10 Gigapult is currently the best UF. Colossal HP against Zombie/Relic ( ~2,5M HP with weaken), large piercing range(100-725), decent DPS with wave attack talents. Windy has crazy dmg vs Floating but with her very long animation and attack rates she will miss a lot. If you want a fun UF i recommend doing Oda, his kit is very unique that noone can cover as of now.

tbf I have all UF's out except spectral cat and the one I bring to battle most often is windy as her one shot against floating is insane. The other ultra forms are good but nothing phono or other op generalist can't cover. You mentioned Oda, on paper he is cracked and a beast against aku but in practice while great he is not that game changing since the freeze is rarely useful but the counter surge is good on surge enemy heavy levels idk if you used all of them or are just reading stats and this is just my opinion but windy would be the best for mat since he does struggle against bun buns and cyclones and other floating tanks with lots of hp and pushing power.

I have both, can confirm theyre both the best units of their trait so far. Windy will be especially helpful during 3 star UL, and gigapult… is just one of the best generalists in the entire game, basically hitting everything in its path with resists too and weaken

Yeah I used 10k catfood on iron legions trying to get him. Didn’t work out well. Got like 10 Carrowsells, though Thermae was good. I just used my dark catseyes on Windy instead.

Please, if you use ubers - at least use mid tier ubers. We wanna see you strategize, not obliterate all the levels with top units like Phonoa or Gaia. It makes it less fun... Personally I think ultra forming catapult would be the most interesting because it has the most health of any friendly unit in the ENTIRE game and can solo quite a few bosses.

Matt Esoteric Uril is basically third Dasli, he can constantly surge and curse, the same as Dasli, and he also has slow, which means he has almost 100% uptime of slow, looking forward to see you using him in your next episodes

I’m approaching 800 hours in my Battle Cats grind! Even having maxed out the majority of my units, the game is still a load of fun, and it’s great fun to see Matt both succeed and struggle on stages I’m familiar with. Keep up the grind!!

Catapult is definently the better option here, because although windy is pretty much one of the best anti floating on the game, catapult fits your point in the game more and just has a better niche. I assume youre doing crowned UL now, so having an insane anti zombie/relic is really good to help make stages that feature them a lot more bearable. As someone who has catapult ultra form and has done all but 14 subchapters of UL 4 crown, catapult has been such a lifesaver on so many stages. Not to mention that floating is far more powercrept than zombie and relic, theres fishman, sanzo, octo, necrodancer, cameraman and tons of anti floating ubers that already destroy floating, so windy ultra form is just super overkill.

Cat-6 Siege engine's Ultraform is a ridiculously good long range relic and zombie support and has a fuckton of health plus a huge attack radius. His talents also really improve his supporting capabilities. Plus he's curse and toxic immune which makes him really good for staying alive while still dumping out CC and being really good against the Big Peng Z colossus

Matt, It would be a better idea to ultra form Cat-8 Gigipult. As at the moment it is the best ultra form. You also have a plus level. Its a great thing to use with relics. Ultra form windy does not have as much use. As it may be good at nuking floating, floating only stages are rare.

Yami, the dark elemental pixie, is strong against Aliens and Aku. He hits three times and weakens trained enemies, as well as resisting them. Despite the annoying awakening cost, it's well worth it. He also isn't too expensive to deploy, it's just his recharge time during battle that could ruin things a bit. Deploy timing with Yami is KEY. I bet he will help you on stages with Aku and Aliens, but you don't have to use him, just a recommendation.

You should use your dark catseyes on the broken ubers first in case you have a bad time in the future, like Dasli and Phonoa. I understand that you might not want to invest in them because it could make the game too easy and that would be bad for content, so I'll also suggest Balrog as he is a close second since he's a single-target melee that deals a monstrous amount of damage with relatively cheap price and fast cooldown, especially if you give him the Strengthen talent. Windy's ultra form helps a lot with stages that has annoying Floating enemies, like the last few stages of the Floating colossus event for example.

I have the ultra form of mighty cat-apult, and it’s a great form, can withstand an obscene amount of damage, and with the basic talents leveled up deals decent damage. Definitely recommend getting the cat-apult’s ultra form.
