Hey some advice from someone who has battled lust since the age of basically birth don't think of it as something that you've become quit it and when the depression hits pray and cry and don't be ashamed and don't listen to the deceit the devil throws into your eyes ears and mind he'll brain fog you into thinking all kinds of lies to make you fall into the cycle of hurt again don't be ashamed of who you are despise evil and do not listen to your urges it'll he so worth it in the end I promise it gets better everyday if you restore your phone or even get a flip phone people will make fun of you but you will be so brave for giving it up God will show you the true colors of life you'll be so happy I promise you this if you struggle reading the Bible pray for that as well you can pray for anything that you know is not evil and will bring you a non evil positive effect spiritually

As long as we are in this body of flesh we will suffer from this, the solution is to read the Bible and have a focused and singular look to see more of Jesus, do not tire of learning from Him. This will make you busy with Christ, and the flesh? I'm 28 and have been struggling with lust essentially all my life. But it ends today. It ends once and for all today, on my little sister's birthday. The timing is so incredibly important here; this video in front of my eyes a year ago would have given me NOTHING. But with some deeply personal experiences and feeling The Heavenly Father's presence these past three weeks (I started praying about a week ago! Speaking his high vibrational words out loud into the Universe praying for strength, focus, persistence, clatity, intuition and momentum, completely surrendering this ego-driven flesh that is susceptible to self-doubt and self-sabotage, and flowing with the Holy Spirit) and what happened TODAY, this message hits me deep and I know exactly what to do with it. I started questioning whether Satan was even real, whether abstinency really brought anyone closer to God or if it was just some outdated practice. I've been heavily addicted to porn since 10 years old. it has changed over the past decade and a half. Not just any porn, animated snuff and rape. Defeating lust isn’t easy at all. I’ve been on this earth for decades and have been a Christian for almost 20 years and one thing I’ve learned is not everyone struggles the same. Some have brutal addictions to things while others barely suffer. For some that battle is pure hell and for others it’s not that big of a deal and a different mindset change is all they need. For those who have struggled with lust to the point where you don’t want to live, don’t ever say it’s easy because it’s not. The ones who say it’s easy haven’t struggled that bad. And as well, sometimes certain people’s freedom isn’t dependent on anything they do but literally God’s timing and Grace. God has a set date as to when He will completely once and for all destroy those evil lustful desires and urges for good in that person and give them true freedom. Not some daily management skills on how to deal with it daily. Because I will never back down from this statement ever!!! If you have to fight temptation and still have lust problems daily and can’t do certain activities or have to avoid certain situations then you aren’t free my friend. A Christian who has to constantly flee things he is powerless to defend is a person who isn’t truly free. There are Christians who struggle far worse than others in certain areas and for whatever reason.

Wrong, thats all i can say, ypu know how many times i went to god while trying to fight lust, and yes in that monet i did defeat lust, but afterwards its still all i wanted, god says its hard, as a christian ypu shpuld never tell so.eone theyre doing something wrong without providing guidance, god says people who found him after being completely lost will have a much higher connection with him over someone who has been with god theyre entire life. The person that has gone through stuff has a much "better" testimony to think about in times of doubt, he can think "lord youve helped theough and savemd me from this and on and on. However, the person that has had god has not been saved through those same horrible events ir addictions. The most they can really think of is how fortunate they are. Finding god and legitimately being saved are different, equals but different. Ever notice how a child typically has a poor connection with their father if their father never punished them. Its the same thing, dont tell people they're doing it wrong, god says to help others with their sin, and if you cant do that, then god also says to not worry about other peoples relationship with him, because its not your relationship, it isnt for you. 2:05 “you can get back to your purpose after..” *But isn’t that TRUE??* This is the WHY in why it’s so hard. Because you really can give into these things, feel *GENUINELY* sorry (repent) and get swept right back up into the cycle. I’m not talking about “cheap grace” (no remorse). I’m talking about the actual way that things are with Christ: He has made it so that when we sin, we can repent (again, genuinely) but while there are sometimes consequences for our sinful choices in life, very often there aren’t.. at least not on this side of heaven and/or not in a tangible way. Not in the same way there are if you ate poison and perished within minutes. So, the threat of “better not do (fill in blank)!” seems more like the parent who counts to 2.. 2 1/2.... 2 3/4... and never gets to 3. So we carry on. Feeling guilty but ultimately, eventually giving in to the chase of that moment of satisfaction and contentedness. It satisfies where Christ does not (which could be a video in and of itself). And so, just hoping we don’t die in our sin and hoping we have enough time to apologize for what we’ve done afterwards spurs us on in the ways we always have. TLDR: no consequence means no real reason to stop or change. Would love to hear thoughts..
