i dont know why on pumpking #3 round 2 pumpking does same attack to my hydreigon as to honchkrow in first round and just oneshots him , why? how i can defend my hydreigon

@Konkitsuv @aladinxd5410 I’ve found an answer! On turn 2 of the 3rd fight, broom cookie with wheezing to remove hydreigons -def & -sp.def, causing the phantom strike to only take hydreigon to around half health if its full. After that keep healing hydreigon and broom cookie if -def comes back. If you get pumpking to almost dead, a cat cookie makes you out speed phantom strike. This strategy causes a longer 3rd fight but it should help with hydreigons 1hit k.o issue. Good luck, and godspeed.

You need to check if hydreigon has its defense dropped or has too much chip on itself. If it's got its defense dropped, use a broom cookie on your weezing

A great video to introduce the strategy. I have a few questions - Why the Lum Berry on Honch when it can have the insomnia ability to prevent sleeping? Why Psywave on Weezing instead of Acid Spray? If Hydreigon's SpDef does drop past -3, what's the alternative strategy?

I think you should have around 20ish of each X item and about 10 cookies.

A lot of Pumpking is RNG based, so you may want to either retry the fight or feed your Hydreigon some X Specials and hope for the best.

Usually nature does matter, so it is a Bold Nature. You may want to utilize its high defense stat since Pumpking 3 is physical.

You will get Pumpking Goodie Bags and every pokemon used in the duel will get the Dark Crystal Particle (implying the Pumpreaper doesn't remove the pokemon from the party).
