if you have a lot of spare families they will hang about the building sites waiting on materials, when you get really big it does help assigning families to stables

It's more that the Oxen just get stuck doing nothing. Literally nothing gets moved. Was ok up until about 17 years in or so. Just a bit buggy at the end there unfortunately.

@@TheOnlyL0nzY I never grew my settlements above about 70 plots so maybe it's pop based, I did notice a significant improvement in build times late game with families assigned to oxen, maybe a few shortcuts to get it out before Christmas but I'm still glad he did.

@@steelyglint100 If each citizen has a script attached then yeah, it's probably population based. Too many things happening at once and scripts just get held up until nothing happens, like traffic.

Thanks for the series of videos, watching to see the state of the game. I enjoy the game the game braking bugs annoy me to much to play (not a complaint I realise I'm playing an alpha game) can't wait till it's finished and playable.

Well, more playable than last time for me, but yes, definitely needs ironing out as it kills the town off at the end
