beautifully put together and its a great adjustment, i used let my ego get in the way alot, when i saw them constantly making aggressive plays against me for some reason at random my ego would say "THIS ENDS HERE, NOW!" when i have a trash hand to play and would decide to defend it in this very moment which was a terrible decision

Cool vid! I was hanging out with some buds the other day talking about a new addiction (golf) and how despite how much I love it, I'll never become professional level good. Some of the rest of the table was a little irritated with my negativity, calling my comment a "limited belief" and told me that kind of thought process is never a good thing. I tried to explain how it can be appropriate. Ultimately we are seeking the truth/highest EV opportunities out there, which sometimes can be not pursuing the fun golf career and instead pursuing something else

Hey Uri, thanks so much for sharing the story and posting this video. As someone who loves both the technical aspect and pure human reads of poker, I found this exceptionally refreshing in a way that helped me understand aspects of my game and leaks that have been unconscious. I love your other content too but just wanted to say this really hit me ❤

Great stuff! New subscriber and new poker vlogger here. Interestingly, a lot of your same advice applies in the polar opposite situation as well, at least in VR. People come to low level tables not knowing AT ALL how to play poker, and they end up playing the "Bingo Poker" game, shoving all-in pre-flop. The game gives them more chips (not a lot) the next day to try again, and the micro/low tables have a lot of this pre-flop shove by people who don't even know what a flush is. They can be very profitable if the cards go your way but as their opponent even if they don't shove pre-flop you can't judge their cards by their bet sizing or how the behave as they hold the cards because they have no idea what they're doing... so I fold fold fold preflop, time my shots and don't bluff them. At least in the case of the good player you can nod and say "yes, they're a good player". In the Bingo Poker case some people start to go on tilt right away when players who haven't a clue get lucky enough to be dealt the winning hands, even if it's 8,3 offsuit and a 'thinking' player would have folded that pre-flop.

This is useful content within the context. Personally, we enjoy your perspective. That is why you are to refrain from analyzing and speaking of that which you were not the part of. Your hands, your game, your experience. That is what we are interested in. Thanks for the video.
