My mum raised me alone and I always saw her fixing things on her own, it wasn't until I was much older that I saw other mums 'needing a man' to fix thing, which confused the heck out of me. Now everything online is about women inspiring thier daughters to do things for themselves and I realise how lucky I was to be raised by a strong mama who just got on with it. It brings me joy to see Raven doing things I saw my mama do, reminds me of the days when she was able bodied and happier ❤
