Hi! I forgot to include the text description for my oven process. I’ve included the details in previous videos, but in case you’re new to my channel, here’s how I oven process a batch to make sure it goes through gel phase: • preheat the oven to it’s lowest temp (mine is 170ºF) • TURN THE OVEN OFF as soon as it's preheated • place the soap in the oven & leave overnight • leave the oven light on for about 3 to 4 hours (the bulb helps hold the heat a bit longer) Also wanted to mention that if you’re soaping at warmer temperatures than I do, you could probably just insulate the batch in a towel or blanket on the counter and still achieve a complete gel without the oven processing. Thanks so much for watching! -Holly :)

Holly, I always appreciate your videos. Not only are they beautifully filmed, they're also calm and peaceful: watching them is a lovely experience! I came to this one today because I've just purchased some of the kaleidoscope disks from Love Your Suds. Using them is a bit of a challenge because it's essential that the batter remain nice and fluid. Mine thickened much more quickly than I'd expected and that made it difficult to get nice, clean pours. I'd tried using squeeze bottles, but seeing you use the funnel-pouring jugs and flowing the batter right down the centre, along the line of the tool holder, seems much simpler than what I was doing. And I'm sure that the time it took to put my colours into bottles was part of what had my batter thicken. I love the colours you used for your soap, here. I'll try the same, myself, next time. Thanks for your clarity and straight-forward illustration of your work. Blessings! Ann

I finally thought I had all the necessary items to make this beautiful project. However I have one question. What tool did you use to push the soap out of the can? I guess I need to find one of those.
