Who was there when Larry dropped a mix that ill never forget. He played 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4 intro looped on a reel with E2E4 playing together with that reel then he proceeded to just kill it with song after song being mixed over those 2 tracks. I freakin lost my mind that night!

I was fortunate enough to have made it to the GARAGE once before it closed, one night STERLING VOID performed at ZANZIBAR in jersey ,where i'm born and raised. And the line was alllllll the way out to Broad street and wrapped under the NJT train bridge. So i decided that night to try and check out this other place i'd hear about from time to time. And had it stayed open longer, i think i would've wound up going there more, because in a few short years, TONY would leave for the 🇬🇧 (ministry of sound). While i liked it .... AT THE SAME TIME .... i didn't love it, even though LARRY was incredible, and COULD MIX ... he didn't always do it, where as TONY .... MIXED !!!!!! As long as i went .... well wait , this is about LARRY & THE PARADISE GARAGE .... i am HAPPY i got to go that one & ONLY time. And do and WILL always cherish the experience. RIP 🎛 🎧 TO THE PARADISE GARAGE 🙏 AND ALL THAT PASSED THROUGH THOSE HALLOWED DOORS. 🌴🕊

Sounds like Larry levan to me I remember 84 King Street New York City also club better days Wednesdays and Sunday nights with t Scott then we would double down on Saturday night in New Jersey at club Zanzibar t Scott Larry Patterson does anybody know what I'm talking about the early eighties of course I really miss club Paradise garage I still got my membership ID how about that let's go back to the club days everybody

So obviously the real deal...The way he extends those dubs esp Dhar Braxton Set me Free...DJ's back then would mix the same track for 10...15 sometimes 20 minutes...The way he messes about with Love Hangover as well...Genius. Recordings like this of Larry live are gold.
