Forbification generates a lot of ballwark at level 3. It's better if you have something to crush those shields, but if you're trying to amass ballwark it's crazy good.

Especially if you have the proper relic support. There's a relic that gives you Ballwark when shields are made and a relic that gives you Ballwark when shields are broken. If you have both of these, you're eventually getting like 12 Ballwark every 3 pegs hit at level 3, which is absolutely insane.

The relic Ball peen Hammer generates bulwark every time you crush a shield, so Fortification would scale insanely.

Like everyone above, Forbification works best with the ballpeen hammer (which gives you 1 ballwark any time a shield is made) and fiery furnace, along with either orbsium, worbhammer, or infernorb to break the shields.

Forbification is good with the relic that give bulwark when shield pegs are broken, but there's another relic that gives 5 bulwark when a shield peg is created aswell.

When your inside slime boss, the best move i've found is to break a few pegs on the sides, and then throw a orb into the slime wall, usually peels down for good damagios

Ballwark _REALLY_ does work in the early levels like that Spiderweb one where you're usually taking a ton of 1HP hits, and instead you just come out unscathed.

Love me some Peglin, but Forbification is a good example of one of my few gripes with it. It can very obscure, and would really benefit from a more robust tooltip system. The shield business isn’t explained at all, and instead it explains what it means when a peg is “hit.” Thanks, Peglin, I think I figured that one out. Wish there were tooltips for the board too. I got the prime slime relic a few times, and it makes my board very pretty, but I have no clue what all these colorful pegs are actually doing.

Fiery Furnace really does work super well. Ended the last boss with over 1000 bulwark with that and those upgraded orbs that make shielded pegs.

Forbification combos very well with two trinkets and a ball that kills the shields in one hit (like the axe one or the fire ball). There is one trinket that gives ballwark when you apply shields to pegs, and one that gives ballwark when you destroy shields on pegs. I have used that combo once to get nearly a thousand ballwark in one fight.

Getting the mask made the build so much more broken, it made the Bucklorb and Protectorb give 4 ballwark instead of 3 each time.

Tips for Tom: -Upgrade sphear, it has good pierce damage which helps to deal with knights -You don't want more refreshes when you have the Bag of Orange Pegs since it grants a damage multiplier the more pegs are deactivated -Forbification works great with two specific relics, Fiery Furnace & and Ball Peen Hammer -Not a great play picking up the mask and then dropping the Orbust, which would have been 2 mucircle instead of one each attack, but it didn't matter anyway

I've never really made a full ballwark build work. Best I've done is like half bomb, half ballwark where the ballwark's primary job is protecting me from the red bomb damage.

I think that was the most value I've ever seen from Critikris in the last fight Your crit damage was 195, and you activated 3 crits in the shot, so it did 1170 damage to all enemies

Forbification works really well with 2 different relics: grant ballwark for every shield created and grant ballwark for every shield destroyed! Don't dismiss the little fella he does a good job!

Bulwark is fine, it doesn't scale as high or as quickly as most of the better builds, but it also has the benefit of being a "safer" build as you essentially get free "healing" just by having a lot of bulwark to soak damage. I find its a good transition build if you are offered a lot of bulwark stuff early but not necessarily a good late game transition build on its own. That said, Bulwark has saved my ass when I got unlucky with a self damage build and didn't get enough healing items/orbs... added a bucklorb or two at the very end to help soak damage on the final floor and scrape out a win when I otherwise would have died.

the ballwark dream build would be: worbhammer (lvl 2+ for instantly breaking shields peg), bucklorb, protectorb, forbification, best orbfence (gains +3 dmg for every ballwark, this is a rare orb), irresponsiball. and for relics you need: fiery furnace(+5 every shield destroyed), ballpeen hammer (+5 every shield created), essential oil (+1 ballwark every ballwark u gains), mask of joy (+1 good effect on you every time so +1 ballwark). then you hope for ripostal service so you can clear enemies really fast since you have a LOT of armor. Also please try an orbsium build with swoltorb (lvl 3) and for your aoe in this build get echo orb (at lvl 3 it has 100% echo)

Was waiting for the shield break relic to pop up. If you multiball plus durable and the relic that gives all orbs the ability to hit empty pegs, bulwark stuff can get 1k in one go if you're lucky with refreshes and then 1 shot everything. I really wish they would rework the difficulty thing so it doesn't hurt rapidly degrade into spam until you luck into one of very few viable paths at higher levels.

The only time creating shields is good IMO is if you have the relic that gives you ballwark when shields are created, or the relic that gives you ballwark when shields are destroyed. But those relics show up way too infrequently IMO

i think the shields dont do damage when you hit them but contribute to the ballwark... so it was kinda silly to remove the orb... should have removed the spear instead especially when you had the overwhammer

The problem with Balladin is that the meta is quite stale. It's basically one or two builds you can do and the rest is unvaiable even on Crucball 1. The Cruciball hunting with that one will be tedious.

The Forbification is great when your buffing the pegs, pretty sure the peg doesn't give damage buuuuut if you hit it with something like a Swoltorb it gets the + from it, so it certainly has some use tho it does feel niche.
