I won't demotivate students who shall be joining NCC in upcoming days, but the harsh reality of NCC is that we do not get any allowances or incentives, infact we have to spend our money for uniform and other needful which are required. If any student is joining NCC for allowances and incentives pls do not join, NCC gives you basic military training which is most important and needed one which is required by an defense aspirant before joining armed forces

M pass out just 15 days befor with a grade in both C and B certificate. And I had a great experience with ncc Bcoz I was CSUO and I did 4 time flying ...parasailing ...so many types of firing ...trekking ..had given duty in PM rally in cariappa ground .and so many things ..so as per my experience ncc means a lot And one more thing my younger is still in ncc and he is doing job as a assistant manager only just bcoz of ncc Bcoz last yr he did RDC in 2020. His salary is quite better than govt job starting salary.

No. None of the three certificates given in NCC will help you in your SSB.

Certificates will not provide you extra marks but yes you will be expected more as compared to others in terms of performance and if you will fulfill their expectations , your chances will be higher. It is good to take ncc , also apply for B.

@Bruno The Labrador Jai Hind, 1st you need to decide in which wing u want to pursue this course Army, Navy or Air For Army as much I know they're allowing candidate to join for SD 3 years course NAVY is also having some similar possibility For Air wing you need to complete your 12th if it's science then too good Sometimes they're enrolling before 12th also that you need to check from the unit or group headquarter Because for Air wing they having some criteria that after completing C certificate You have 2-3 three years only to attend SSB And for SSB Graduation is mandatory That's why it's better that you join NCC Air after 12 because it's 3 years course And you'll get less opportunity to attend SSB An AIR NCC cadet can be appear in both SSB ARMY and AIR SSB But an ARMY cadet can attend only ARMY SSB Because during training you're getting chance to fly microlight aircraft And basic drill, physical activity too For AIR NCC you can directly visit to AIR NCC unit nearest to your location same college is not needed For ARMY also you can directly visit to Group Headquarter near to you But you need to grab time from your academics So I'll suggest you to visit to your nearest NCC group headquarter But you have to decide on specific wing as per your interest By the way from where you are??

@@factboy2884 no option work hard do daily workout on ground in gym running and other exercises Morning daily 5 KM run and alternate day ABC workout (search on KZbin) and alternate day Gym Weight lifting and pull ups and double bar And if you do it and and you are in cable of joining NCC and then still if your college seniors are not taking you in NCC then you drop your mobile number here I'll make you call and talk to the present NCC senior's

Sir, I also want to join The NCC junior division *EXTERNALLY* or as an *OPEN CADET* , because my school doesn't hold a NCC unit. But, I don't know any professional person who knows about NCC or servers in The Indian Army, I contacted *Nearest Army Cantonment* for information but after trying many times, call didn't reached Later, I contacted *Kendriya Vidyalay* and asked for contact number of NCC *Commanding Chief* of that unit for getting information about NCC but they refused to give contact no of their Commanding Chief What should I do now?
