Defender 300Tdi Rebuild - 28. Spraying Axles

Finally got around to spraying the axles. Finished dismanteling the link arm assembly and found a snapped pinion in the diff.

I will be double checking my diffs now as I’m at the same stage. I was really disappointed with the frost chassis paint when painting my axles as the rust still bled through even with a coat of rust converter on underneath, let’s hope your axles don’t do the same
